Out Goldy (managed), Brown (injury), Pittard (ommited), Will Walker (managed)

In Xerri, Larkey, Haydon, LDU

I think the first 2 outs will be necessary, and the second too probably preferable (pittard has been up and down like a kite in regards to form, and already being played outside of his preferred position). The ins are pretty good, or at the least very suitable, replacements for them.

Probably rest/manage a couple of other blokes. We have a fair few healthy and fit players to come in, be it long or short term. 3rd of 3 games in 8 days. Don't let anyone get burnt out, use the list now that we have access to it.

First time for the year that someone even came close to breaking even with Goldy. Definitely needs a rest on the back of that I'd say.

I only got to watch the first quarter last night so I may be wrong but bonar was just jogging around when he had the chance to put pressure on the contest. It was so s**t to see.

Don't like him atm

Sick of rejects from other clubs

We are capable of beating Melbourne though with a tough inside game and unpredictable forward line.

Oh and I think atley needs to be tackled taking the game on. He is so scared of contact it's ridiculous.
Run in a straight line and bomb into the 50 RINSE AND REPEAT

It’s an indictment on Bonar that Will Walker came in and had over twice his disposal number - not to mention stopping a certain goal.

One played on a wing/HF position they are used to, the other is playing in an alien position across HB and looks confused. Again, if he doesn't perform in a position he should be accustomed to, happy to start writing him out of the future 22.

Out: Brown, Bonar, Polec, Pittard

In: Larkey, Hayden, LDU, Murphy

Probably nowhere near it. Picking the changes this season has been extremely difficult. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Marley and Mason come back from the dead.

Even when in good form Goldy does have a really down game every once in a while. The timing of it would probably suggest he needs a rest though, and in all honesty it would be the perfect opportunity to actually get Xerri into the team as a ruck. He's lost a whole year of development in the VFL which is going to hurt him/us long term. It would be really nice to see him given a genuine chance to show off his wares.
Nah if Goldys not there Gawn would absolutely tear Xerri a new one. Play Campbell at least he will be able to compete physically. Nothing against Xerri looks a good prospect, but a no lube reaming might damage him mentally amongst other things

Could give Durds a game in the ruck

Out: Brown, Atley, Mahony, Pittard, Bonar

In: Larkey, LDU, Hayden, Perez, Murphy.

Anyone thinking dropping MacMilllan after his most polished game in 150 is delusional. He was good.

Atley’s first half should see him traded, disgraceful.

Not blaming Polec, he is not here to do the heavy lifting.
How could Perez be ready?

Dont think bonar makes it, not in our system. He's last in line for slow gritty midfielders of which we're well stocked in, and lacks the pace to be a genuine small lock down defender.
Bonar ran close to the all time record 20m sprint in his draft year. What you’re seeing is a lack of confidence in an unfamiliar role resulting in reactive football. He’s shown that he has clean hands +disposal, and is very young to be written off.

In an ideal world he’d have played a lot of VFL just to get his hands on the pill. In reality he’s been thrown into an AFL backline, learning on the job with a midfield that leaks like a sieve. Tough gig.
