I watched the VFL yesterday and besides CCJ no other players said play me in the 1's next week. Cunnington really struggled, Phillips was serviceable only, Wardlaw is at least 3 weeks away and Thomas is still underdone and rusty. Hall got the ball a lot but didn't use it well but the whipping boys in Howe and Lazzaro linked up well in many passages of play. Turner is a no as well.

We still have Powell, Phillips, Young and l feel would be a better option that Howe or Bonar...

Young hasn’t been favoured all year, Phillips isn’t fit enough, nor is Powell. Not exactly a fan of Howe either, but at least he can run out a game. Bonar is defensive coverage for Perez.

Why oh why is logue being played forward.drafted as a back.
Why is CCJ not playing at all and why is xerri in front of him? He was drafted as a ruck.
Why oh why are we crying out for a key forward when we could have snatched one up who looks pretty handy.

If we don't see anything before the seasons end they'll be 1000's dropping off 2024. Why bother in the current climate if there is just nothing to make you even smile and you are actually embarrassed by who you support.

I was looking forward to this run of fixtures two months ago and now I just don’t know why I should care when the players don’t. Clarko needs to start firing campaigners. The performance isn’t good enough and there is no excuses. Honestly the run of performances since round 5 have been absolutely pathetic.

Personally I thought last week and this week were actually an improvement on the GC and Melbourne games. Not good by any means, but we stopped just giving up for the rest of the game and instead were just patchy with our shitness and played to our level.

Against the saints the scoring shots (though not the score lmao) was close at half time, then in the third we got obliterated, but the 4th quarter was more like the first two.

This week we were competitive for a quarter, got reamed in the second, and then while not competitive didn't let ourselves get too embarrassed in the second half even though players dropped like flies.

GC and Melbourne were so much worse than that. But in a perfect world I'd agree that players should be shot out of cannons this week, but we just had to cop an incredulous amount of injuries making that option moot.
