Love what I saw of Coleman in the reserves last year and he probably gets the nod for McCarthy, but would love to see Cox get what could potentially be a final opportunity to show his deserves another year.

Out: Witherden, McCarthy, McStay
In: Rich, Christensen, Ballenden
Using your flawed logic that only stats matter how does Ballenden come in for McStay??

McStay kicks more goals, has more score involvements, more tackles, more inside 50’s, more possessions, more marks.

it also ignores the substantial amount of work McStay does that doesn’t show on a stats sheet.

Really hope he gets another year or 2. He hsas elite skills, can kick just as good on his left or right foot and his really quick. You don't see those combinations together very often.

Yeah I think he's already lost his spot on the wing to Bailey. Robbo will need to have an impact up forward if he's going to stay best 22. An in form Robbo would be huge for us heading into finals so hopefully he can find that form.
Have got to wonder if the cliff will come super quick for Robbo based on how much damage he does to his body week in week out.

never felt any more confident in the last few years than beating collingwood next week. Watched them the last few weeks and they have been terrible in the first halves they have played and except for Melbourne no one has put any scoreboard pressure on when they have had the opportunity and opposition teams have kept collingwood in the games. Take our opportunities in the first half and will be a stress free game of footy in the second half.

Wish i had your confidence. Collingwood are our bogey side, havent beaten them in ages. We will surely keep them in it with missd shots (hopefully not). Teams always seem to play really good against us (e.g. NM, Melbourne) don't know if they just get confident as we keep them in it or our style of play but expecting them to play good foot against us. No Sidebottom helps tho

Collingwood could be in their worst form possible and still trouble us. Just one of those teams that we can’t stop.
Would be disappointing with the calibre of talent they are missing.
I reckon we need to belt them, they’ll beat us in a closish one.

We are not really very good at putting scoreboard pressure on and taking our opportunities.

But I will be going into this game more confident than I have been for a long time against Collingwood.

i am never confident but for some reason i feel really bullish

I agree, free kick, but hardly worthy of a suspension.

looked like from that footage a fair hip and shoulder. Yet a richmond Player ( quote “ Jack Riewoldt has escaped with only a fine for a strange incident that saw him punch Port Adelaide’s Tom Jonas in the groin. “)can punch u in the nuts and gets no suspension only a fine. Yet another example of the lions getting screwed.Thank you so much AFL, so lions players, there is only one way to respond and USE THIS as MOTIVATION, TO SHOW THE AFL , THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO US WE SHALL PREVAIL. We SHALL BE THE PREMIERS IN 2020 Go Lions !!!!!!!!!

Looked up the league totals and Mitch has certainly a lot of goal assists, being our best player in this stat.

I also seem to remember Jackess pointing out that our two key forwards had quite a few goal assists early in the season but it looks like that has tailed off recently.

You cannot review the stats week by week so I don't know if this stat is a reason to retain Robbo.

I think I was too busy watching most of the game from behind the couch to notice where he was playing.

Regardless, I still wouldn't be surprised if the only change is Rich for McCartney with a shuffly shuffle of positions.

Finally!!! I’ve found someone who has the same game watching techniques as me. I’m telling my kids cause I’m getting tired of them telling me I’m a weirdo when I’m crouched behind the couch.

We own it, others do it but lie too look cool and calm.

Rich for McCarthy is not like for like no matter how one shuffles the positions

I think Rich replaces either Birchall or Witho (would prefer Birchall out)

Then it's between a whole host of candidates to fill Linc's spot.....Christensen, Coleman, T Berry or Cox.

Personally,I'm picking Christensen and failing that I would give Coleman a run......godamm..... Coleman looked bloody impressive to me in pre-season training at the and of last year :thumbsu:

I developed this technique for the 2002 Grand Final. I really much prefer watching games when it's not required.

thanks to the SEQ hub I’ve been able to go to non lions games and it’s awesome. I get to really watch the game without blood pounding in my ears and hyperventilating. And I don’t get caught up in chasing the ball so I see all the structural and off the ball set ups. And little biffs.

it’s an even better game than I realised.
