Their backline is also seriously undersized at the moment so if our mids get on top could be a bloodbath

Hipwood is building into the season. Pressure is improving and starting to get rewarded for his efforts. Still an awful kick of the footy though with all his extremely hard work undone with shocking no look (?) long 50m bombs to opposition every week. Had about 4 or 5 of them against the Blues.

Hopefully he can iron out that part of his game and the Lions would be much stronger.

Setterfield has been decent and has tagged multiple people including a great job on Oliver. Hasn’t racked it up that much recently but feel like he could go on Neale to try and nullify his clearance work.

They won centre clearances 8-1 in the first against Port so it’s important to come out strong. They did eventually fall off and the game was only close due to Essendon accuracy and Port inaccuracy in front of goal but it’s best if we don’t go down a couple goals early.

He has slowly been improving his composure with ball in hand. As you said I think he is building nicely
