Nevill playing SS today in Sydney
One was by Bradman IIRC, another by Haydon against an Antarctic u12 girls 11 and the other by Clarke at the SCG, so in real terms it's 2-1 in India's favour.3 in Australia too, fwiw![]()
I garuntee you Head would be a better No.6 than M.Marsh, Maddison and the somewhat unlucky Cartwright.

They key to winning these games lies at the toss unfortunately
That's the sad reality.
You can argue changes until the cows come home but really whoever wins the toss will win the game.
In the 2010 tour (2 tests) and 2013 as well (6 tests), Ponting and Clarke won all 6 tosses, yet lost all six games. Some of them were innings defeats.
So that excuse doesn't hold much weight at all.
And what about in total tests between teams of evenish skill? How many teams who won the toss go onto win?
I would be more interested in how often India has been beaten at home after winning the toss. You can nitpick all you like, but my post is the most relevant example in the current context. Winning the toss six out of six times this decade against the same team we are playing now didn't mean we could draw a game, leave alone win.
Yes. One can actually bat, the other is Mitch Marsh.People really think Khawaja would be any better than Mitch Marsh on these pitches?
Are you sure? Khawaja is not a class player. He's a flat track wonder. That's it. He also has an inability to play the ball for singles often enough and that is a cardinal sin on spinning pitches.Yes. One can actually bat, the other is Mitch Marsh.
Khawaja's record on these pitches is no good, but then Khawaja is actually a class player and class players can improve and adapt.
Marsh is just plain not good enough.
Out: Shaun March
In: Khawaja
Out: Mitchell Marsh
In: Maxwell
At least Mitch made some runs...People really think Khawaja would be any better than Mitch Marsh on these pitches?
