You're the one making up shit that's he's not good, that's been debunked.
He misses shield cricket every Jan-Feb and has missed shield matches early in the season too but not every season.

Maybe research the player in question next time before shooting from the hip over a 5 inning seasonal average :thumbsu:
Good doctor, the Shield season is on hold during the BBL?

Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't to be honest

If they haven't worked out the pitch will turn they are drunk.

I'm glad we are announcing the side at the toss though.

I prefer that they announce the team at the toss, always keep your cards close to your chest

Yep goodness knows why we announce teams 48 hours prior

Does winning/losing the toss affect who we'll pick?

If we bat first do we favour an all rounder at 6 compared to bowling first favouring a better batsman?

You and over your side before you toss the coin.

Maxwell will play anyway.

if the pitch looks dry and low, I would like to see Faulkner and Stoinis replace Marsh and Starc

Cummins might have more airspeed but in those conditions Faulkner could be a real handful with changes of pace, bounce etc and he and Stoinis would provide an overall batting upgrade

if the pitch looks like it might hold together then I'd opt for Cummins and Maxwell

they'd still offer an overall batting upgrade and Maxwell would be a 3rd spinner, 5th bowler and a good back-up plan for Lyon's spinning finger

peace

Who were Australia playing in coloured clothing at the start of the Shield season?

Only asking because you've said it's the only way Maxwell misses Shield cricket, and he wasn't in the Shield side. Also boggles the mind how Maxwell can have all those amazing Shield seasons, yet have a sub-40 career average. How weird.

To be fair to him, Maxwell's career batting average from 31 Shield matches is 42.36.
