If Smith is injured I wouldn't risk him. Got a lot of cricket coming up and we need him at his best. Will be a big test for him when we go to New Zealand.

Boom!Steve Smith has more scores in single figures in his last 15 innings than Shaun Marsh.
Nah a bad spell a few years back is more relevant than thatSteve Smith has more scores in single figures in his last 15 innings than Shaun Marsh.

It doesn't have to be NCN, if be happy with any bowler. I'd be happy to see Faulkner get a go ahead of Marsh as he's a better bowler. I just don't see the point of playing Marsh when 1. He isn't a top 6 bat and 2. He's not a front line bowler. Better off either picking a batsmen or just going for a 5th bowler.
Bad spell or more single figure dismissals than most tail enders...Nah a bad spell a few years back is more relevant than that![]()

Surely he won't play Boxing Day nowKhawaja has not passed fit for the Thunders first BBL game by CA medicos.
Surely he won't play Boxing Day now
Common sense says he shouldn't. He was barely fit to field before he did the HammySurely he won't play Boxing Day now

Yeah I'd expect it.So we can consider him a guaranteed selection?
Yeah I'd expect it.
If we rest Smith can we do the same with Warner? Please?
Comfortable with a bloke proving his fitness by getting through a BBL match??Well he's a better test bat than Burns so I'm comfortable with the decision
Here's and idea. Don't watch when he gets close to a milestone. Ffs look at this petty pathetic hate.I don't mind that idea, could do without seeing that annoying little leap while eating Xmas leftovers.

Staying fit and playing consistent cricket is so overrated anyway. So we can consider him a guaranteed selection?
You'd make a good selector. Brain dead just like Rod Marsh.Well yes. Not as if there is any other cricket anyway at this time. Could be worse..could have Burns attempting to gift the Windies his wicket every ball.

The more disturbing thing is that they seem to think BBL form means something too.The last time a bloke 'proved' his fitness and form in BBL we had Shaun Marsh in that Indian series
Do tell how else is he proving his fitness. It was a minor hamstring strain. It has been 4 weeks. That is plenty.
Minor?? It's been 4 weeks and he still hasn't been passed fit . Getting through 1 BBL match simply isn't enough.Do tell how else is he proving his fitness. It was a minor hamstring strain. It has been 4 weeks. That is plenty.
