Straight swap. Wonna is the better player.

Wona might be a better player, but they aren't exactly a straight swap. They're both goal kickers, but do it in pretty different ways.

Hope Maric gets back in the side soon, I want him given a proper go this season to either see if he's got it or dumped at the end of the year. He needs to be a regular senior player by the end of the year or he should be gone, no point keeping him otherwise

IMO Jones is the perfect sub. Given his distinct lack of pace, to have him come on midway through the 3rd qtr when the pace is well and truly out of the game he could dominate. Imagine Nathan Jones with “pace”!

Don't agree, Jones has never made an impact in his life, that is what the sub is for.

Aussie, Bennell, Watts and Gysberts have the athletic capabilities to make an impact, Jones doesn't. He is only in because of our lack of midfield depth.

Last week we looked awfully unfit, like the midfield couldn't keep up. So this week we've responded in a away by dropping 2 forwards and introducing 2 mids. However you would have thought Maric would be much fitter than Wona at this stage so he might have deserved to keep his spot.

I'm keen to see what Morton can produce. We need him to prove this year that he is a clear best 22 player and hopefully even better than that.

Probably a bit hard to do when he's first emergency (according to demonland).

He could of only been dropped due to match fitness, so I find it strange for him to be first emergency if there wasn't a injury. How is he going to get match fitness in the stands?

I have a feeling that Garland didn't come up. We'll see on Saturday, if Warnock or Strauss aren't playing then we definately have an injury.

Was reading through the Herald Sun this morning and came over a table entitled "Players who have amassed the most possessions in their first two career games" on page 61, young Jordan Gysberts with 53 was no where to be seen in the small table which had Ricky Petterd at 44.

I know I have been a bit too negative this week after the debacle that was last Sunday, but even this is too far in my opinion.

I hope we smash 'em, and we should. But I am a little confused as to why Petterd has been dropped then named first emergency. If he needs more fitness, then drop him and play him for a full game at Casey. That's both Maric and Petterd dropped for this weeks game. 2 forwards, one was a sub last week, while the other got cold because the ball never went down there! Both don't deserve to be dropped IMO, unless lacking match fitness. Just a little nervous about where our goals are going to come by this week???

Gysberts is a good inclusion, and so is Wona, but would have liked to seen Morton play at least 1 game for Casey. Not sure we needed to rush him back for this game.
