I don't think performances against a specific team over a year ago are relevant, at all.
Unless you're playing a specific structure to exploit the other sides weaknesses, where you pick the best available places to fit that structure, then I think it's irrelevant.
The form of both of them, in recent times, has been crap. Throw into the fact that both are underdone, and it boggles the mind as to why both are automatic selections.
I saw it cost us a grand final birth last year, and I was hoping that such a severe missed opportunity would've been enough to hammer home the lesson - unfortunately, this weeks selection makes it seem like that isn't the case.

Have you seen something this year in the lead up to this game that the coaching staff have not that warrants an almost all out attack on their selection?
