In - tackling coach

Totally agree, I know it was wet tonight but it's the same s**t every week, half assed attempts to tackle, only throwing out one arm and then just not sticking them, like McGovern tonight for example, should have cleaned up Breust. Apart from a few players our tackling is terrible. Good pressure but s**t tackling. Time to bring the Western Force blokes back in again.

We can all agree on this board....let's hope it's in the GF!
I wish. But realistically I can now only hope for the QF or Prelim.... (....that's if we don't slip to 5th/6th....)

I have us slipping to 6th losing against Freo, WB, Adelaide
We won't lose to the Bulldogs. I even think we'll beat Adelaide.
But even if we do lose all 3 - I can see the dogs losing to North.

5th/6th won't happen. 3rd is as bad as it will get for WC.
We play Freo, Dogs (they beat us earlier in the year ) and Adelaide in Adelaide . With our increasing list of outs , it's possible that we could lose all 3. If we lose all 3, we might finish 5th/6th and slip below Sydney and the Dogs . Heck, if we lose to the saints we could finish 7th/8th .

Despite these posts , I'm a glass half full rather than empty fan though so I'm hoping to go 3-1...
It's going to be tough with our outs though so 2-2 and 4th is a little more realistic ...

Out Gov, Lecca, Ginna / Hutch or Scooter.

In Hill / Lamb, Barrass, Sinclair (Hopefully), The umpire who put on the block for the Hawks against Shep

We should be favourites against WB and Adelaide providing Naitanui is back.
We'll be favourites against the dogs.
We are a 6-8 goal better side at home and though they beat us at the start of the year , it was close.
We will be slight underdogs against Adelaide (like we were against Richmond ) but I'm hoping we can maintain our 100% AO record (I'm flying over for that game!)

And
It's just the way our match committee works. We played the kids (remember Jackson Nelson) at the start of the season when we thought it was a rebuild year, and now that we are in the top 4 it's back to McGinnity and Butler all the way.
He should come back in against freo ... Nelson was one of the best for EP today, with 2 classy goals too. Must have had an onball role.

We should of played Jamie Bennell always good in the wet, doesn't lose his feet.

Bring in Bennell, Lamb, Sinclair and Nelson

Need some better footskills in the back half and take some risks again, when moving the ball from defence.

Weather didn't help tonight.

Out

Butler, McGinnity, Le Cras, Selwood/Rosa

Barrass if McGovern doesn't come up

After reading about Hotline's game, i would not be adverse to promoting him onto the main list and plaing him against freo. Surely better than Ginners or Selwood. Better than Hutchings and Rosa too likely. We are running thin at the business end of the season, and need some class coming in.
