He was subbed off after having a poor game and our MC tends to favour seniority over anything else when it comes to the crunch. Not saying I want Sheed to be dropped, no way in the world
And there is no way in the world that anyone at the club would chose McGinnity over Sheed. You are just being dramatic and negative, which is normal.

Sheed is a second year player who was down this week, maybe he is a bit sore and the club subbed him out because of that? There is no evidence the club would chose McGinnity because he is "senior" to Dom. None.

Simpson said earlier in the year that he only likes 2 inside midfielders in the 21 yet we had 4 last night. It might have been because of the weather but surely that will change.

Sheed was bad last night but it was his first bad game in a while, should keep his spot but is a sub risk. Offers more that Hutchings and Selwood at half forward.

That should mean one of Hutchings or Selwood go out whilst the other stays in as the sub.

Mcginnity will keep his spot as a defensive pressure forward.

Out: Lecras, McGovern, Hutchings
In: Barrass, Hill, Sinclair

Selwood to sub.

Can't believe so many of you have given up on us, we were pretty good last night and could of won the game. We made a few errors but that is what happens on the start of your journey. Make no mistake we are a good side on its way up. We play a high risk game plan and errors will occur. Time continuing to play together will sort that out.
And stop rambling that McGovern was not right, he was declared fit by his own declaration and by a professional group of medicos, he had only a minor hammy and was out for 3 weeks which is normally adequate. It was just unlucky. He could of missed another week and still done it again next week. No sportsman ever no matter how much they think they do train with the same intensity as they actually play. You never know until to you play.

Out : McGovern, Lecras, Lycett, Mcginnity
In : Naitanui, Sinclair, Barrass, Hill

We will go back as quick as possible to what has been getting the job done. Unlucky Lycett but the facts are that Sinclair is better.

Barring miracles lecras and McGovern will be out. Hill and Barassment to come in as the closest like for like replacements we have

Hopefully sinclairs knee is ok for next week so he replaces either Hutchings or mcginnity

If naitanui is ready to play then he comes in for lycett

Nelson had good numbers for East Perth so hopefully he comes in for the other one of mcginnity and Hutchings

I thought Hutchings was pretty good last night Keyser, certainly in our best 5-6 players. What did you think?

I was sitting behind the goals at the city end on ground level or thereabouts so not in a great position to judge Hutchings game given he does a lot of work inside packs. He didn't look terrible and I would rather see selwood dropped first but that isn't going to happen which is why I picked hutch to come out for Sinclair since he was the one that came in for him yesterday

Hutchings, McGinnity and Selwood all seem a bit too much the same to all be in the team. Plus none of them are effective in the forwardline, despite playing there most of the game (other than Selwood).

After reading about Hotline's game, i would not be adverse to promoting him onto the main list and plaing him against freo. Surely better than Ginners or Selwood. Better than Hutchings and Rosa too likely. We are running thin at the business end of the season, and need some class coming in.

He did sound promising. Doing everything he would be expected to do in his first season back playing AFL.

Out: McGovern, Le cras, McGinnity

In: Sinclair, Barrass and Hill.

Hill needed a week off to freshen up, playing sore after that shoulder knock. If not Hill then Bennell. Need run, experience and pace against the Dorkers.

Interesting, do you recall when he said that?

To me we look like we lack one gun inside mid to really challenge the top sides (although we're doing a great job atm).

We still get done in the clearances too much.

After the Hawthorn game I'd be inclined to run with Lycett's big body against Sadilands.

Sinclair if fit would be rag dolled against big Sandi.

This is based on Natanui being available of course.

Out: Lecras (suspended), Mcginnity/Selwood, , Mcgovern inj
In: Hill, Colledge, Barass/Nelsen

Lecras is going to be suspended, Hill would've at least kicked a couple last night. Colledge in for that extra midfield grunt that neither Selwood and Mcginnity provides. Barass or Nelsen in for Mcgovern depending on freo's forward matchups[/QUOTE]

Frustrating with LeCras because if he didn't have two fines already this year he could escape with a fine for the Frawley hit IMO. No ill effects for Frawley, wanted to come back on only minutes after the hit but the Hawks medicos were cautious and decided to use the H/T break to advantage, so because of a third fine LeCras is rubbed out i presume.

I'm hesitantly naming Sinclair due to injury, however if he is ruled fit than he plays for sure. Naitanui needs some time out even if it's only 1 game.

IN: Barrass ~ Lamb ~ Lucas/ Sinclair/ Naitanui
OUT: McGovern (inj) ~ LeCras (susp) ~ McGinnity (omitted)

Nelson, Colledge and Bennell the stand by emergencies

McGinnity is like Danny McBride in This Is The End. Entertaining in the short term, but keep him around for too long and he'll lead to our demise.

"This ****ers gots to go. He's gots to go."

I did post the gif of Franco uttering that line in the Selwood thread but it loses its touch without the subtitles.

Lets just say luckily the Hawks didn't bring their A game or else it would of been ugly, to get within 3 goals of them was a mighty effort guys for this list so I wouldn't be going to hard on them. Need to just let Barrass play the rest of the season out now and rest Mcgovern, drop Ginners and bring in anyone with a heart beat and LeCras being out may actually free up our forward line a bit he hasn't been playing to his best for a while now so I'm still confident we can get close the the Purple Turkeys.

Hill starts sub.
Well said and I have to agree. Two options

If Lecras is not suspended and Nic Nat is ready to play (this is only if he is because family always comes first)

Out: Mcginnity (Spud), Lycett (unlucky) McGovern, Hutchings
In: Barras, Nic Nat, Sinclair, Hill

Second if lecras misses and Nic Nat not ready
Out Mcginitty, McGovern, Lecras
In Hill, Barras, Sinkers

I think we actually took it up to them but once McGovern went down and Lycett had no legs left it was game over. I mean if McGinnty had kicked that goal and we went up 24 points who knows what would have happen
