I have been a staunch Rosa defender but his disposal has been killing us lately. One of the worst up and under, I don't want the footy kickers and we have had more than a few since the bye.

Maybe Lucas could fill that spot on the wing and kick a few from HFF. I guess we'll know in the post season if his one year deal gets stretched. Hopefully Lucas is building some confidence at east Perth and can have a positive impact late year or in 2016.

Yeah Rosa's an interesting one. He's been pushed out of major rotations through the middle and on the wings, so we're using his height to shore up the backline. Our mentality is that if our backs are at least all around the 190cm mark then someone will always be able to at least compete, and it helps they're all dynamic at ground. He's been handy and needs a good chance to work his way into his best form (he always gets to the end of the season in great shape then goes down for the clinch). Younger counterparts are biting at his heals, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas turned out to be a steal. The attributes are there to be a solid contributor, whether he makes it relies on confidence, intent and a lift in stoppage work. Our midfield coaching puts him halfway there

But tbh mate I wouldn't be surprised if he was a total bust, either.

Rain wrecked the Hawks style of play. We'd have lost by more if it were dry. Hope it rains this Sunday.

Last I checked Hawks play most of their games in Melbourne. I'm pretty sure they have good exposure to wet weather footy, certainly more than us.

Sick of this weather excuse. If anything the wet disadvantaged us more yet we put on pressure and led the game.
