Sure, but Freo's strength is in their midfield - Fyfe, Neale and Mundy. They're not going to drop those guys because they're Freo's key players and the ones that they can rely on week in week out. It just so happens it's the area of greatest weakness for us, and as such, is the area we need to shake things up to see what results it produces.None of those Freo players are their prime movers though. Its almost a comparable list to Mackenzie, Jetta, Hutchings, Butler, Schofield and Sheed being dropped its just we have older guys to replace them
So, dropping Priddis/Masten/Redden/Hill/LeCras/Butler will drop 1,046 games of experience but they're not the guys carrying us this year. We're getting that from JK/Gov/Shuey/Yeo etc.
And as I mentioned, I think it's more the impact of making a move like that, and what it can do to the rest of the guys that keep their spot. The message is loud and clear - perform now, or you're going to be playing at East Perth next week.
