I think he is 100 per cent right about we lack Leadership, it has shown in the last 3 games and at other times when we have been challenged during the home away and season Its not Bonts fault he is young but after Bont I see nobody knocking at the door with leadership skills in 2022

There IS someone else with leadership skills. Mitch #$%#ing Wallis. I've been a broken record about this, I know, but he should have played against Port. And he absolutely should play now. I'm not holding my breath though!

I should probably save this for the Changes thread. But there IS someone else with leadership skills. Mitch #$%#ing Wallis. I've been a broken record about this, I know, but he should have played against Port. And he absolutely should play now. I'm not holding my breath though!

I think Hunter did until he went off the rails last year

Have a read of this Disney, Baines, and Crant

Bomber fans travelled to Launceston from across the state in an almost exclusively Tasmania-based crowd given border restrictions.
Essendon coach Ben Rutten appreciated the support for the team.

"I love the way our Bombers fans turned up and supported ... and we were pleased they could go home with bragging rights for a week," he said.

You were one of the only posters on here who didn't get sucked in to thinking we were legit contenders. I wish I'd listened to you earlier this year before getting my hopes up and then ultimately shattered.
I didn't want to be right. :(
Couldn't wait for the tags and quote backs.

Very bizarre if we chose Tassie voluntarily just because of fly in/out.

People do realise it’s a dogs home game. Dogs members in tassie will get first dibs. It’s not going to be 15,000 Essendon fans.

This is one of the weakest choices the club has made in a long time

Why? What if we win and we’re stuck in iso until the Tuesday in Melbourne when we need to be preparing for a semi final? Theres also a lot of waiting around in South Australia.

Come on Dr Phil there is about just as many Bulldog members in Tassie as there is naked red head men running around Dubai at the moment about 2 in my view Your missing the point even if the small stadium holds 20 K and 13 K are Bomber fans and 2 K fans are Bulldog fans how bad will that look for our club Watch this space before the game Brayshaw shouts in his annoying voice look at this crowd is i this a Bombers home final

It will be a capped 10k crowd I would assume too so if in Tas get every tassie dogs support to get on board and leave Essendon **** all, take family and friends

When
Making a pretty good first of it today. 4 by half time.

He might now that our club has given them Home rights

Just heard on 3AW Dogs v Bumbers at York park Launceston.

Did Dogs choose this or were we strongly encouraged to play there?
the crowd the last time the Bombers played in Tassie spot the Hawk fan :)

do people watch footy for enjoyment or is it just another place to throw tantrums.

It’s been a tough run. Ages into a pandemic with no end in sight. The club has fought so well for us all year and deserve our love and to some extent our faith and belief. This mob is a bunch of fighters that has had some recent adversity. We lost our leading goal kicker and our ruck and midfield has lost their mojo.

but we are lucky enough to have one last chance to ignite a fire and have these great fellas put smiles back on our faces once more. They might not manage it but they sure as hell can and I think we should get excited at the prospect.
