No. Best way to re-re-injure him.

McLarty in for a debut either in defence or in attack, with Mihocek swinging back if it's the latter.

Some real headaches if Dunny is no good. Mihocek to stay back I'd say, McLarty only a maybe to come in. We might go Cox and small blokes up forward? Early doors I say

My first thought is to play McLarty in defence tomorrow to test his defensive form. The more radical thought is Madgen who put together a very solid month before breaking his jaw, but was quieter in his return last week.

Shame about Dunn. Hopefully it isn’t bad. Moore straight in if need be. If he’s fit, he’s fit.

Mihocek looked fine down back I thought. Essendon without Daniher don't present as much of a threat up forward, so Dunn missing might not kill us this week. Moore can't possibly be risked. I'd almost give him and Jamie two (or more) VFL games, they're just too important to us.

Apples struggled a bit I thought. I think he should probably go back.

Early call before VFL but I'd almost be tempted to roll the dice with Jordy 90% up forward (like Caddy at Richmond) and replace Dunn with Wills, especially if it's wet. Essendon have quite a few smaller midfield types so we could use size to our advantage.

I'd say no - too long out with hamstrings now to bring him back before he's done a solid block of work at VFL level to get back up to speed.

Starting to lack that run out of the half back moving abit slower now. Think it’s time for Murray to have a run.
Varcoe’s forward pressure would be handy against this mob.
