Mihocek goes down back if Dunn is out.
Even Reid if available will be handy to play forward or back depending on where Mihocek plays.

As for the others, I'd look at bringing in Murray for Appleby.
Appleby with ball in hand is a liability at the moment. He just doesn't want to take that responsibility.

Reid is still out for another few weeks, only Varcoe who is back today against Willy, and Moore, Elliott and Smith are back next week in the VFL. Also think Aish is back playing in the next 2 weeks. So there is some relief down the track.
Can not believe the shocking run of injuries, now with Dunn looking to miss some footy. Looks like McClarty could get a debut, if he plays well today.

I can't believe how little is talked about our injury list in the media, it is huge.

Of course it is dependant on our VFL game and if Greenwood is available. Would be great if Murray/McLarty/C.Brown put their hands up and Varcoe gets through. Because we really have nothing after that, outside of unreliable injury prone players coming back.

Bit of a problem with Dunn missing. Only really McLarty Lynch or the underdone Moore to choose from in terms of like for like.

Hopefully Moore puts his hand up today.

The other option is to play a small forward line (our medium forwards have been kicking goals all year) and send Mihocek into defence. Play De Goey or WHE at CHF. And bring in the best available....perhaps Varcoe.

We are currently playing a genuine CHB at CHF
Perhaps all we need do is bring in a Forward, say someone like Varcoe

Reid will be out til at least round 20 apparently. Had a clean up of some meniscus damage. I would love us to be able to go without Darcy Moore for a while and give him 3 or 4 games in the twos so he can get as much game time as possible. He missed a massive chunk of the pre season and has hardly been on the paddock since the real stuff started.

Is Moore playing VFL? I thouht that was happening next week?

In : Varcoe
Out : Dunn if he doesn't come up.
Move Mohichec to FB, play Cox as the only tall.

Really hope Dunne comes up, he is a bit of a rock for us
Not actually sure what knee "jarring" is because it doesnt' seem to come up on search. doesn't seem it would be bruising fro ma knock, more like a shock to the surfacees of the joint in which case you'd think would be lucky to be onluy one week out.

INS: Varcoe, McLarty, Greenwood
OUTS: Dunn, Crocker, Appleby

B - Langdon Mihochek Howe
HB - Maynard Sharenberg Crisp
C - Phillips Pendlebury Sidebottom
HF - Varcoe McLarty WHE
F - Thomas Cox Stephenson
R - Grundy Adams DeGoey
INT - Mayne Sier Greenwood Daicos

I forgot about Greenwood. Not sure I'd be rushing him back in but he'd probably be stiff to stay out on the basis that he only went out due to concussion. That said, I think Crocker did enough to hold his spot!

I’m feeling like it might be only:
IN: Greenwood
OUT: Dunn
Mihocek to go back for Dunn and Greenwood to go forward and have Cox and 5 smalls in the forward line.

Whereas Murray with ball in hand is a liability, but at least hes not scared to take responsibility!!!!

I hope MaClarty puts his hand up today because we need him if Dunn is missing for much time.
Mihocek was playing back in the 2nd half and went all right but he was alright in the 1st half up forward too.
Varcoe in Daicos out I think Phillips could nearly do with a run in the 2,s as well his form has tapered right off but we have run out of options.
That 50mtr penalty from Daicos halted all our momentum and he did the same recently was it against Carlton and both led to easy goals and they are a killer.

Suspect Dunne is in trouble and wont be surprised if its alot worse than a jarred knee. I hope its not.

Mclarty has to come in. The cupboard is bare.

The bigger question is how to set up in F50. Does Mihocek go back on Hooker or roll the dice and play Mihocek, Maclarty, Cox F50 and make the bombers play hooker back and let Howe, Shaz, Langdon hold the fort. Bombers dont have a big forward witbout hooker.

If Varcoe gets through today I'd swap him and Apples of half back. Let him take Tipungwuti.

I'm 50/50 on Daicos. I'd prefer him closer to goal. I think he could impact the game more with 15 possessions from a flank or pocket. He's elusive and creative. Maybe rotate him with whe and stepho through the middle to add some pace.

Mayne was terrific playing as a defensive winger. He is becoming best 22 for me.
