DeGoey needs to play middle imo
Ideally but running out of cattle means compromises. We have a few options.
Greenwood is one other option, or just rotating Pendlebury Sidebottom and De Goey through there.

We might have to bring back Greenwood as a tagger and go a bit more defensive to ease pressure on the ball going quick into our def 50, I bet they wished they played McClarty as a defender all year instead of forward/ruck, anyway, why can't moore come straight in?, other teams are doing it, Liam Ryan back after 8 weeks out and so was sloane
I've been watching a different Collingwood backline to you this year.
Dunn has been our most important defender this year.
He is a massive loss.
We are going to have to blood McClarty either way, although, he is probably not qite ready, anyway, you never know he might come in and be a starCan we swing Mihocek back and McLarty forward ?
He’s a real big unit too.We are going to have to blood McClarty either way, although, he is probably not qite ready, anyway, you never know he might come in and be a star

Season over?AFL Injury List has Elliot as "Test".
How far away does that really mean?![]()
Being big and nice doesn't mean he is going to be any good. He looked promising early in the season but just hasn't vindicated the early accolades for him. He’s a real big unit too.
Something like 6’7” or 6’8” real big.
Vice like grip.
Nice guy.
Might just adapt with good players around him.
That’s true.Being big and nice doesn't mean he is going to be any good. He looked promising early in the season but just hasn't vindicated the early accolades for him.
If a big player is what's required, then McLarty is better qualified than Blair for the role. Unless he allows his opponent to run riot and fails to get a touch. Hopefully he has been saving his best for a crisis such as this. That’s true.
But being big sure does help.
It’s as always up to the player to produce.
I’d rather bring Moore straight back rather than reward McClary after some indifferent vfl form.
Or do neither and play smaller.

He needs time but we need him now.reckon he will be a very good key forward when he gets a decent tank. you cant teach the way he can mark.
We'll play five mediums and one tall in the forward line until Reid or Moore are ready. De Goey to replace Mihocek who goes back. WHE the nominal CHF.
Greenwood/Varcoe to replace DeGoey in the middle.
WHE's ankle looked pretty bad, will he be right to go? and if so is it worth risking extra damage playing him sore?
He could barely jump or change directions after he hurt it in the marking contest in the 2nd half. Was surprised they kept him out there tbh as he looked shot.
Also surprised none have picked up on it as it was obvious as dogs balls after he hurt it he was playing lame.
happened when a suns player fell into his legs.
