The argument shouldn't be "so and so should have kicked that goal", the argument is "the team shouldn't have haemorrhaged all those goals". It's unfair to pin a loss on a particular player given the circumstances that resulted in a number of losses during the year.

Eh, pretty demoralising when players miss a simple goal that would have put the game out of reach.

But you are right and that might be symptomatic of the lack of leadership we have onfield. We're very prone to haemorrhaging goals when teams get a run on and that could be due to composure and leadership

Not sure "haemorrhaged goals" can be used against us on the weekend. We were playing the 2nd highest scoring team in the league and held them to 81. The last quarter, where they won the game, they were kicking to the goal kicking end and they only kicked 4 goals. And one or two of them were kicked when the game was over.

Was dead set awful and a liability last game. His foot skills cost us several chances at goal and he's part of our midfield problem. Should be dropped.

Being converted to an out and out tagger is a pretty decent sign you're pretty gash.

If Snadden can develop his tagging skills and offer a bigger body in the middle I'm all for him replacing Hutchings next year.

Like I said he's been pretty good of late and doesn't deserve to be dropped. There were a lot of skill errors from our team on the weekend and singling him out is unfair for a guy who has been playing his role well.

He was good early when used as a tagger. Then simmo suddely stopped using him and he became useless. Then after that his taggging work went down as well. Its not one game really.

Kennedy offered one match for charging Kelly, panel said he made unnecessary contact while contesting the mark.

His best game this season was in Round 16 and his second best was in round 14. He's picked up three times as many votes as Shuey from Round 14 to 20 (I haven't counted the last two rounds yet). He also had more votes than Yeo in that same time period. And obviously had a lot more than Priddis in the same period.

Now I'm not saying this guy is curing cancer or anything, but he's been more than solid in the second half of the season and doesn't deserve to be dropped.
