True a bit of wishful thinking on my part but I was just quoting the fact that he has been elevated. They wouldn't have elevated him if they had no plans in possibly using him in the finals.

If North lose on Sunday, you could almost put money on Scott blaming something outside his control - the crowd, eagles playing outside the spirit of the game, travel etc

Schoey --> Tarrant - can't seem to mark the ball when people are nearby, Schoey has better closing speed will not make it easy
Glass --> Hansen - wont have recovered from repetitive knocks to the head, will struggle with directions and motor skill. Will allow Glass to zone off and help out the water boy.
Monkey Jr --> Campbell - 50/50 until Monkey runs through him 5 minutes into the opening quarter
Hurn --> Harvey - both like space, lets put them head to head
NicNat/Cox --> Goldstein/A Edwards - be good to see if they can keep Cox to less than 15 marks
Masten --> Mckinley - Heard reports Mckinley was going to tear up the midfield, should be a good match up.

Doesn't seem to be a match up for Wells, delist.

Never let Harvey run free, IMO. Adam Selwood should be assigned to keep a close check on him. If Hurn is trying to free up, I don't want Harvey off the leash as the price for that. Given it's not a choice of one or the other, attempt to free up Hurn, while quelling Harvey's influence.

Harvey is the kind of player, that if allowed to run free, that will receive the ball from North's IM's, burst away from congestion and create an overlap of handballs that runs and slices through a zone and will expose WC on the counter-attack. So, it's not their inside mids that have to be quelled as a priority, but those capable of damaging with burst and run - Harvey and Wells.

Stop their run and make them kick long to clear congestion, for this plays into WC's press. WC have to stop their run and carry.

You just have to look beyond the circle-jerk WA media, not everyone is going to love everything you guys do. If you listen to Brad's press conference this week he dishes heaps of praise on the Eagles leading into this week. There is respect there for the club, where it is deserved. There are some things opposition clubs are not happy about, one has been the dubious umpiring, both in general terms and in terms of certain players throwing the head back when there is any kind of contact and it is laughable at times, laughable as LT's diving at times.

That criticism is deserved and acknowledged on this board. You need to get over it. Truth sometimes hurts if you stick your head in the sand and refuse to see any negatives. There is a fine line between being a one-eyed supporter and a moron. Nobody minds one-eyed supporters, it is the morons that are hard to relate to.

Bigfooty isn't a good representation of an entire supporter base, but your board is by far the most reactive i've ever seen. Every week you have a thread about the umpiring and possible suspensions to other teams players. Regardless of whether anything you've said is true, you should be posting that crap on your board before you come here and try to pass it off.
