Surely Nelson comes in for Jetta if he's injured and if Lycett is in doubt you have brown as an emergency for him
Definite head scratcher

Agree completely.
Have Brown as the EMG. The only rationale is that we are playing silly buggers with selection and have late changes planned - but that hasn't been our style

There is another scenario which is worse... one of Gov, Schoey or Barrass is injured.
Priddis late out. Classic Simmo finals move.
Even if that's the case you'd still have brown as an emergency only rather than name him in the 22There is another scenario which is worse... one of Gov, Schoey or Barrass is injured.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong... but we won't be allowed to swap Brown back out unless he suffers an injury before the game. Emergencies are only for injured players.Brown in for Jetta suggests that Lycett isn't in doubt, because if Lycett does come up, and they planned to swap him out for a small if he didn't, what's the point of Brown if he was supposed to be Lycett's replacement. They'd look pretty stupid swapping Brown back out.
Brown is far more likely to injure himself than do damage to anyone elsemaybe simmo just wants brown to go knock out a few doggies so win, then next week he will recall paddy mcginnnity to do the same role and the week after tunners gets his go. Thats my theory![]()
