you guys are soft. Its just one day for FFS. You can get home on friday arvo after work and have an early sleep or a short nap. Theres days that i finish my uni work at 2 and then have to be up for work at 6. I just come home and have a nap after work. This is a goddam final, be pumped!!
Are you studying the anatomy of a Bull ?

No it won't.

We'll win by 5 goals plus
You. Off to the corner and stop posting this overly positive shit.

I don't like changes for the sake of changes but this seems to have worked for us the last three weeks.

Reckon you guys are hot and could win it all this year. Barring something extraordinary like a run of in game injuries, be very surprised if we get within 10 goals.

Even at full strength we'd battle to beat you at Domain.

We were hoping to get some game time into our recovering injuries in the VFL. Thursday game makes that unlikely - shit happens.

Anyone who is up early for work on Fri, its a crap arse slot to suit Ch7 alone. And **** them.

Define early for work?

I'm sure there are a few who have to get up at 4am but most timeslots are going to be a problem for them. I'd normally be up by 6am and the idea of being up at midnight is pretty normal. 11pm Melbourne is no worse than a Friday night - why do they do that, I mean think of all the people who work weekends!

You are whining. It's really a non issue.

No changes.

Crows were meant to be this great run and gun team, as are Doggies, but we more than matched them.

Giles, Priddis, Hutchings etc didn't get exposed for their lack of pace mobility. There aren't any glaring matchup issues that I can see that would make me think we needed to bring in anyone for that reason.

I will be up for work early Friday, and I can't wait.

It's one day before the weekend (you will cope with being tired for one day), we would likely have just won our first final ;), and it's Friday! Pretty hard to be upset about any of that.:rainbow:

Only 1 week till Tunners is back

Nelson.

Duggan and Redden are not exactly in fine form.

Agreed.

Nelson makes the odd mistake or two but his heart and mongrel is second to none. His intensity will lift others around him which can only be a good thing.

If we are to go deep into September then I reckon we need him and Lycett to go full-on campaigner mode this finals series and get under the skin of some opposition mids.

Back in bed by 9:30pm? Thursday night forces people to go home straight after. It is a television slot, if you weren't aware?

Friday night allows for activities after.

So does Thursday if you are older than about 14.

9.15 is early. Go to say Singapore, watch the young kids eating outside with their parents at 10pm and heading home at 11 or later. On a school night. And they outperform our kids at school. (And they start earlier the next day) :)

The reality is 9.15 isn't late and most adults arent going to be inconvenienced in the slightest over a Friday night game. Your attitude reeks of Dullsville

But that aside Pat, genuine question, what's your idea of a big night post the game?

(I'm assuming you won't answer tonight as it's 11pm on a Sunday :p)

Sorry, it's legitimately too late for who? In Melbourne it'll finish about 11pm. Apart from a few kids under 10 that's too late for who exactly? Genuine question

6.10pm start is a roughly 8.40pm finish.

I think Hill has been down on form and would be happy to maybe bring another mid in for him.

Sorry, but no. I'm a Nelson fan but in for Hill? You do realise Nelson has played in the backline and at times through the midfield and never as a forward? Hill has not had a heap of ball and I'll give you he was quietish since he has come back from that bout of tonsilitis but he has worked hard. He was better against the Crows chasing and putting pressure on. He works well with the other forwards and is a good finisher when needed.

He's also a guy that could easily kick 3 or 4 goals and has had a great season, although a few quiet weeks. I love Nelson but no unforced changes for me.

Drink has come out and said with it being a Thursday game, Wood might be the only one that comes back in. He wanted Saturday night, to give Libba and a few others more of a chance to get up for the game. Suits us I guess!!
They'll bring in whoever is semi available. It's do or die!

Who are the others?

Libba, Macrae, Roughhead and Wood are the 4 that could come back in. His words were "Easton might be available, but who knows, he might be the only one. We would probably prefer a Saturday night to give everyone the chance of an extra couple of days to be right from an injury point of view, but we can't fight city hall on that"

I think Libba and Macrae were listed as 1-2 weeks, so I guess it'll be touch and go as to whether they play. Either way, you'd think they'll be pretty under done, especially once you throw in the few hours on a plane, which the dogs don't do well.
