What is with the Thursday night? Why can't they have a game on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday?

Nobody likes Thursday night games surely? Have Fox Footy been paid to promote Thursday night games? I just can't see how they are popular, especially for anyone working and struggling to get to the game on time.

How is Friday night different to Thursday night as regards people working and struggling to get to the game on time?

I've hated Thursday night footy this season and last. But for this one instance I'm in favour of it, purely to boost our overall chances in the finals series.

It is very different. Saturday isn't a working day and is the weekend. You sir, are either retired or in school.

That 2 extra days break between elim and semi will be big if we are to succeed this year. Esp when we will have to travel to the G. I am happy for Thursday.

Dogs will go hard no doubt. I expect a close 1st qtr where they burn their tickets. We will be clinical and win it by 6-7 goals. I don't want to get ahead but we need to gel as a team and practice structures for the remainder of the final series. I'm still in the camp of 'we can win it'. Make the prelim and the best team on the day goes to the gf
