Out:
Stephenson (He will be really out of his depth this week. Adelaide have improved in contested footy from last season)
Crocker (Gets replaced by a better player in the reserves, enough said)
In:
Elliot
Fasolo

I am tempted to bring De Goey back, but he is unlikely for mine given he'd a soft tissue injury and back from limited playing regime in a big game, I am going to err on the side of caution. Bring him in against Essendon.

Elliot is the exception to this rule and should be cherry ripe. He looks like he's got another level to get to in his footy, hopefully with a good hit-out in the VFL he will add his class to the team this week.
Degoey will be a definite in, thenits between the other two for the other in. Money on fas

Don't need Cox this week, let's make Talia, Hatrtigan and Kelly look for matchups-

Out: Cox, Crocker and Stephenson
In: Fasolo, Elliot and DeGoey.

Nice and easy. And please, please realise when you have no key position players you need to bring the ball in low or to space, not a long bomb to the top of the square.

Agreed, but given Adelaide's pressure around the ball and our general deficiencies by foot...I'm not optimistic!

just on fox footy , most likely will give Elliot another game or 2 in the reserves, to get his conditioning up. Just for the fact we got essendon after that ,then the tigers 4 days later.
Not keen to play Elliot with such a short break between the bombers and tigers games. Most likely to play against the tigers.
However Degoey and fassolo red hot favourites to come in this week.

Jeez. Who was saying that on Fox Footy, out of interest?

Bucks and the match committee are on a hiding to nothing. If they play JDG, billy and or Fas, and any of them get hurt they'll be slagged off for bringing the injured back too soon, but if any of them don't play and we lose it will be because Bucks and co don't have balls. I guess we just have to win either way.

I think they will only bring in two but my side would be as the below:

IN: Fasolo, DeGoey, Elliott
OUT: Crocker, Stephenson, Langdon

B: Murray, Dunn, Maynard
HB: Howe, Reid, Scharenberg
C: Sidebottom, Pendlebury, Phillips
HF: Thomas, Fasolo, DeGoey
F:Elliott, Cox, Varcoe
R: Grundy, Adams, Treloar
I: Crisp, Aish, Brown, Hoskin-Elliott

I am torn on dropping Stephenson but letting a young guy go down and dominate at a lower lever will be a good thing and help him long term. He will be back and play plenty of senior footy this year.

Crocker looked our most dangerous forward over the first 2 rounds but he is a no brainer to get dropped for any one of the 3 inclusions.

I think Langdon will end up playing but I in my opinion we would be significantly more dangerous if we played Reid down back and used Elliott as the primary forward target.

Looks a pretty decent side with Moore, Wells and Greenwood still to come back over the next 5-6 weeks.

Elliot all but a certain starter according the HUN.

Very confident going into this.
We may not have much skill but we don’t need it against Adelaide who hate the contest and squirm under pressure.
Gibbs and Sloane are pretty soft and won’t stand a chance against De Goey and Adams one on one.

It’s their show ponies in Betts and Walker who average about 5 touches a game that we need to get worry about.
Saying that Sloane is soft is one of the more bizzare comments on footy I have read....ever.

Keep Crocker in the side keep Reid forward it will be wet so their talks won’t be that influential and drop Cox

He was very good V GWS, I don't think he was terrible this week, but if people are making way I think he's up there.

Well I guess Grundy been a Bit of Dud then. Drop him for Lynch then:rolleyes:

He'll return sooner than what you are anticipating.
I'm only going by what a current player told me over the weekend. I'm not sure if this player would have much idea. But he made JDG and Elliott sound likely, Fas not so much. He also may have just been spinning shit to some random bloke and didn't want to give much away.

So did Treloar.
Yeah 2 weeks in a row for Treloar. Last season I was pushing for Treloar to go to half back but I like what he’s shown in a few forays forward this year. No good one out over head but he’s great when the ball hits the deck. That goal running around the GWS defence was memorable a fortnight ago

If you’re trying to make a suggestion that Aish/De Goey is a similar situation to Grundy/Lynch you aren’t going to have anyone backing you up.

No one appreciates you going off and making irrelevant comparisons every time someone has something negative to say about your favourites. Please think before you post.

We clearly look more dangerous resting our mids up forward (in particular Sidey and Treloar). Need to continue with it. Interesting how it works with Fas and Elliott in the team.

Absolutely. Fasolo is on thin ice as far as I'm concerned. Unless he starts tackling then I think he'll be in serious danger.
