Hamstring. I've had a gutfull of our inabilty to field our best team. Forget playing our best 22 on a regular basis. We can't even get them on the park for one game FFS. I feel sorry for Bucks.
It’s frustrating that’s for sure. I reckon though that we will be in a stronger position in the second half of the year. Just need to keep our head above water before then.

Yep and it isnt as if other teams arent getting injuries. Worse in many cases.

Despite this setback we have a long list of legitimate selection options....in no particular order Wills Mayne De Goey Fasolo Sier and Daicos to name just a few....any of them could come in and seamlessly cover Adams and Elliott. And of course Blairy!!! The wee man is not on the radar because our depth has improved but hes solid depth all the same.

(Plus Wells is right to go again this week....heard that before of course but just putting his name out there as well).

Hahahaha. This is great. I wonder if the club will ever think about spending money on the football department tax so we can have competent medical and fitness staff instead of spending it on other sports and wasting our time which would cost a lot more.

Not cursed at all. The majority of our injuries seem to happen in training & not during matches. Except for Moore.
We may have moved old Bill on, but the injuries at training are still a huge problem.

Hamstring strains over the last few weeks.

Moore, De Goey, Smith, Wells, Adams & Elliott.

We need to look at why from every angle & perhaps not use the just bad luck card.
Are we pushing them too hard on the track?
Is our injury prevention sub par?

The coach more than ever needs his best team on the field. But whatever training & preventative measures we are implementing they aren't working.
Hamstring strains are too plentiful. Perhaps we should have the whole list doing ballet & pilates I don't know. But we need to do something other than keep copping them.

Interesting frizzle your reply remains and mine got deleted........interesting indeed.

Probably. Although young Dakes is also a chance.

Crocker and Brown will stay in. We can only benefit from giving Callum game time and then some.

Agree that Brown has done enough, deserves to hold his position and is worth persisting with until others playing that half forward role demand his position.

Croc has been copping a bit of stick on here which I feel was unwarranted, I thought he too was doing enough considering the lack of experience and marking presence (at times) around him. Again, play him until we’re certain on the likes of Fas or Jamie who are obviously upgrades.

Thought Daics played well on the weekend, love his vision and ball use, but I was a little surprised that his game garnered the praise that it did from Bucks (maybe you’re right and they were already thinking Daics for stevo?)

Funny thing is I was thinking “it would be so Collingwood for us to get some injuries, just as everyone is finally getting fit”.

Maybe, it’s time the young boys stood up. Nothing says Collingwood more than standing up when the odds are stacked against us.

Adelaide at home with a handful of our Best 22 not playing. This is the moment.

I’m thinking JDG for Adams is clear.

That might be the only change but I think Stephenson looks tired already and I’d be bringing in Faso.

That won’t happen I think, so we’re looking at no other change, or perhaps Blair - which I’m not super upset about. He’s earned it I guess.

Mayne is too close to Crocker as a player and only comes in if it’s wet and Cox doesn’t play, I’d say.
Your likely closer than me in your assessment of what will transpire.

I think we all are on the page, Adams being injured it’s simply De Goey.

After that it’s a bit tricky. Yes I’d think your Fasolo is more likely than Sier.

I guess I’m curious at seeing a big body in there.

If we win this one can someone pick me up at 7 in the morning. I'll be shitfaced in the gutter on Chapel St. Look out for fluro pink g-bangers re.
And you'll also by short a few gorillas.

also just a quick one, coming out of defence who is most likely to be kicking the ball out in order

- Murray
- sharenberg
- Aish

Strange question. In a lot of preseason simulation, Dunn would take the kick out wide to Scharenberg who would then leave the 50. Otherwise it's anyone's guess.

So given the rumouredFasolo not going to come in....
Out Adams, Stephenson.
In DG and......Wills.

Given the weather forecast.

Wills for the clearances.
JDG can join the midfield rotation pushing forward.

Reckon we need a mobile forward line roving Coxs dropped wet weather and double teamed spoils.
Don't mind Reid starting back.

I only caught the tail end of Eddie on the radio this morning about these injuries but he more or less declared JDG as an in.

He was also saying that the hamstring injuries to Elliott and Adams are very much on the minor side and that we'll see how they go over the next couple of weeks (or something like that).

24 hours ago I was really looking forward to tomorrow night's game with the prospect of JDG and Elliott coming into the side. Now it's just depressing with the news of Elliott and Adams' hamstrings going. I know it's not the end of the world as JDG will replace Adams but it's just so frustrating that we come so close to having such a strong lineup and then shit like this happens.

The problem is our toughest part of the draw is now. That's the most frustrating.
We have crows, bombers & tigers coming up & really needed Elliott, Moore & Wells available.
Starting to look like none will be for those tough matches. Now may miss Adams as well. Ouch.

After the week-end, I was really looking forward to this game but now possibly no Elliott, Fasolo, Adams (really hoping for JDG), not as confident.

The Crows supporters better not start anything as I am already upset!

Re hamstrings, is it possible that they don't warm up correctly?
