So is anyone giving us a chance? I see it as unlikely especially with the Adams and Elliott set backs. So i say very unlikely but not impossible.

I give us a Very Tiny Chance of Winning like 10% Chance.

IF it was at the G I give us more of a Chance

Does everyone actually believe that it’s a hammie for Jamie? And wasn’t Tay suffering with a rib issue pre the blues game?

Am I too suspicious of the club and their injury updates?

Was anyone here at training?

Channel seven said they had scans on their hamstrings before the club admitted it - ‘just sore’ they said

Depending on match loads you would think that the following changes are a given:

Out: Crocker and Adams
In: JDG and Wills

IMO, bringing Wills in as extra midfield cover allowing two of Treloar, Sidebottom and JDG to spend the bulk of the game forward is a no brainer and that’s before we touch on his defensive presence at the stoppages releasing Pendles.

I agree that Wills should come in now....but just a question mark on his conditioning as he had a very limited pre-season as well.

We could use De Goey more exclusively in the midfield, but he is also a bit underdone and probably doesn't have the legs for 100% midfield. Plus he is too valuable up forward in the absence of Elliott.

You don't think Stephenson has hit the wall Sco?

About the same chance that Adelaide had to come back against us and get a draw last year

Wills and De Goey could split minutes. Wills takes a bigger chunk and rests on the bench. De Goey forward more and Treloar forward when he isn't down there. That's how i'd swing it.

Wow he has played 2 games of AFL, standards are to high for the kid. Lets be honest we arent winning any premierships this year and possibly over the next couple of years. We should be attempting to play this kid in 22 games this year and the same with Maynard, Murray, C. Brown and rotating games through Daicos/Kirby. We need to find out now whether they are good and durable enough at this level, not in 2-3 years when we really should be contending.

Just prepare guys it could be Blair they choose to replace Adams with. I know basically everyone doesn't like the move but i think he had around 30 touches in the VFL and is a similar player to Adams.

I would prefer Wills obviously but just don't be surprised if Blair gets the nod.

Blair is on the plane, AFL Media's Matt Thompson just tweeted it. De Goey also on the plane - you win some, lose some

I wasn't having a go at the kid......sorry you took it that way.

While it's great to get games into the future, I don't think it's the right attitude to have Stephenson play 22 regardless of form. Would much rather see him at VFL level and force his way in. All players should earn their position, particularly in the early rounds when the season is still wide open.

Does anyone know if Wills is on the plane? How many emergencies make the actual trip?

Heard two weeks ago that Adams had back issues.

It really is a double edged sword. We as supporters have to understand he isnt going to play well week in week out and he should spend some time in the 2's based on that form but at the end of the day it is counter productive. The VFL competition isnt what it used to be in terms of quality teams from week to week. What Stephenson really needs for his development is continuity and he wont get that jumping between the AFL and VFL teams.

I never go into a game thinking we've got no chance. It was always going to be a tough ask, losing Adams just exacerbates that.

Yeah massively underrated on here, other then the odd shank he does so much good work around the ball and is one of our few 2 way runners. I know Bucks has had him fwd a lot the last 2 weeks but still his aggression and attack on man ball will be missed.

i agree....he had 1 quiet game but showed promise in his first 2...i know for a fact hes not tired.....hes extremly fit and is hanging to keep playing...gotta give him time at this level...he will find his feet....

To me it's more Wills for Adams. De Goey played stuff all midfield minutes in the VFL. I'm not sure De Goey can handle those minutes right now and I see him more as a forward option with minor midfield stints. Until his fitness is up. Adams played a lot and that's who we have to replace. De Goey for Stephenson. Crocker out if we want to bring in Fasolo.

Fasolo, Degoey, Daicos and Seir is who I'd like to see included. Re-balance this 22 with some class and skill.

No rush he has a 12+ year career ahead of him, he's had a good taste of it. It would do him good to drop back for a few weeks and hopefully work his way back for a recall. Will get genuine midfield time in the VFL.

Fogarty was also managed, I had to laugh at some of the comments re his "dropping". His coach has stated he was always planned to manage him and will be an emg, with the rain they likely want to also not go with too many talls with Lynch back.

These kids aren't recruited for round 4 in year one of their careers, no shame in coming in and out of the team in the first few seasons.

Yeah i think the Richmond game makes more sense for Elliott given it is only 4 days after Essendon, hopefully Adams gets up for Essendon.

You forget they are likely to play a game of VFL too if Bucks previous history is anything to go off, maybe Adams may get a straight return.

i dont think hes hit the wall....actually i know he hasnt....he will play this week and so he should......he has 1 quiet game.....gotta let him settle in ffs.....lololol......

Slow down Scottie65.......I know you're mates but I wasn't having a go......so take a deep breath and go easy with the ffs and the lololol. Capiche?
