Fair point on Howe not having an impact. But he didn't really have an impact last night either. Curnow probably beat him on the night. But unless we are switching Reid back down there this week, there is no more height that can compete with him. Jenkins is dangerous but we cannot let tex off the chain either.
Because if we do he will kick a bag.
Dunn has done the job on him before & I'm sure will acquit himself well again. Anyway you look at it, it's going to be tough to match up on their height.
Some rain dancing may prove beneficial.

I reckon in the future Shaz will be able to cover and exploit guys like Jenkins. If we want to play Dunn on Tex, it might be time to see if the future is now. Although, personally I would put Howe on Tex and Dunn on Jenkins and would be pretty confident in both of them getting the job done.

Both Crouch brothers will be missing and they were 1 and 3 for Adelaide in average disposals last year.

Brodie Smith is another classy ball winner they'll be without and he has good history against us averaging 23 disposals per game.

If de Goey returns our midfield depth will be bolstered again and this is where we can win the game.

Why doesn’t Adams ever get a blowtorch shown on him.
Not suggesting he get dropped for this match but gee whiz beside hardness what else does he contribute.
His first three matches this year have been incredibly underwhelming.

I think when Elliot is right, it’s either Stephenson or Crocker to go out.
Degoey if played forward also outs as above.
Like a swap somewhere for Phillips, yet can’t find ideal replacement as he at least runs all day, albeit like a headless chook at times.
Sier and Wills are bullocking types and not sure whose spot they can take.
If Adams doesn’t pull his finger out soon, I wouldn’t be averse to dropping him.

Phillips does everything right, except his kicking. He's a poor mans Andrew Gaff. If he can fix this he becomes a really good player.

One of things we don't know (amongst many) is what injuries players may be carrying. I was surprised to see Dunn on the bench for sometime in the first qtr. Haven't seen the replay yet but normally he and Howe play close to 100% game time yet both only played 90% on Friday.

Was also told that Adams has back issues and am sure Treloar is carrying something.

Watching the VFL today from the fence, gee players are tough, you could hear the whacks they get and they just get up and play on.

That why I don't read too much into the Bests as when Watching the Game they are never really the Best. Have Good Games but no where near the Best

Phillips does nothing right. He fumbles all the time, makes terrible decisions and can’t kick.

The only thing he can do is run all day. It’s that ability to run that gets him the 20pos he does.

Wills and DeGoey look ready to go. I want Fasolo and Elliott back too, but harder to judge their fitness in today's game. Maybe just bring in one of em.

shaz ran over the ball, couldn't pick it up. Then kicked to 1 metre in from of a players laces from 15m, no pressure. People need to realise his kicking is not elite. Barely even average these days.
Stepho out for single digit possessions and not influencing the game. Young, and needs time in the twos. Would've thought it was obvious I wasn't referring to him as slow.
Varcoe also to be replaced when wells is fit.

If you accept mediocrity, we will stay mediocre.

That skill level would've seen us thumped by Adelaide.

Will be interesting to see how many changes they make. I think it might be limited to one. Stephenson. Don’t think they will want to change a winning side. I think De Goey comes in, with Faz and Elliott given another run in the twos.
