I don't get the Wills love, he hasn't shown enough st AFL level to get picked over proven AFL performers.

Another who hasn't been mentioned is Daicos. He also played well in the twos and his kicking skills and delivery into the F50 is exactly what we need.
Hard to fit them all in, but he's not far away either. Would happily swap varcoe of Phillips for him, to see what he could add.

DeGoey should be a certain in and I'd be playing Elliott too if he pulled up well as we need all the class we can get.

Stephenson out for DeGoey and Crocker is the obvious out for Elliott but can consider himself stiff.

Elliot is a no brainer for me. 5 in the VFL. Even if we get 70% game time from him he is going to be more dangerous than anyone else.

1-3 is a long way back

2-2 is on pace.

In: Elliot, Degoey and maybe someone
Out: Stepho, Crocker, and maybe Langdon.

I wouldn't be too worried if it comes to Round 6 and we're 1-5. The first 6 games are the hardest for us and the rest of the year is a cruise if we play at a good level. If we knock of Essendon on ANZAC Day we could be 2-4 which is a great position to be in our case. I predict we will get at least 10 wins looking at our fixture.

10 wins? What good is that? finish 12th again.

Besides Carlton i see ZERO easy sides.

North are far from a basketcase

Brisbane will give plenty of sides a scare. Please check the scores yesterday

GC well everyone can see they are far from hopeless.

Bank wins now.

Adelaide has huge injuries. If there is a time to beat them its now.

The number of games they are getting is really the best indication.
Both on severe decline.
I sure hope so. Im sure Blair could still contribute occasionally but really, theres just no reason to play him. Younger players coming on now.

And again, thanks for your service Blair!
Mayne....well....uumm. ? You crafty trickster. You got us.

His ability to tackle, get the first handball out to runners and strength in the contest is great. He has shown he can play at AFL level.

I'd swap Varcoe. Won't happen, Varcoe's a smart player.

In: DeGoey, Elliot
Out: Stephensen, Brown

While I havent been a fan of crocker in previous years, he deserves to stay in the team.

What you talking about Wills?

With regard to Elliott's fitness, I stood next to Collingwood interchange bench and although it is hard to read his emotions, didn't really see him blowing hard and played most of the game with usual (no extended sit outs) interchange times.

I really believe if he comes up okay training this week, should be a definite in.

What do you think CFC2010, mattys123 and TradeDraft ?

Not sure about decline. More that good players are passing them. A sign of a good side hopefully!

Blair in particular has been of a very consistent standard throughout his career. Still playing well. Its not as if hes dropped off a cliff....

Drop Crocker, Steph and Cox. It's harsh, but the reality is that they are not the forwards that De Goey, Elliot abd Fasolo are at this stage. Hopefully it spurs them towards a better performance for the rest of the season. It's felt like ages since we've had young players demanding games in the 2s.

Cox stays. Firstly hes the back up ruckman. Secondly he clunked some solid marks on Friday and thats what hes paid to do.

De Goey is a certainty. Then its a matter of picking one of Fasolo and Elliott. The other has to wait another week. I'm starting to lean towards selecting Elliott, for a simple reason....hes the better player.

So does Brown.
yeah true, but I think right now Crocker has shown a bit more over the past 3 games.
But either way, brown or crocker, i'm not really fussed.

It seems like Fas hasnt done enough to demand a place. I'm also concerned with Fas and Elliot playing in the same forward line.
