Throwing McLarty to the elite defence of the Crows would be terrible, he isn't ready yet and has got a bit to go. Coxs first half wasn't woeful at all, he plaed an important role.Brown keeps his spot. How could you drop him after he just played his best game?
Crocker? He's safe as well.
Varcoe plays a role as a pressure forward. He ain't being dropped.
Phillips offers all day running and ball winning abilities. Won't be dropped.
Need an intercept marker against the taller Crows forward line, so Langdon stays put.
Personally I'd drop Cox because he just can't be trusted to perform week in week out. Sure he came good in the second half, but his first half was woeful. The future lies elsewhere (McLarty).
One change.
IN: DeGoey
OUT: Stephenson (looked knackered on Friday).

Shaz ran ov
shaz ran over the ball, couldn't pick it up. Then kicked to 1 metre in from of a players laces from 15m, no pressure. People need to realise his kicking is not elite. Barely even average these days.
Stepho out for single digit possessions and not influencing the game. Young, and needs time in the twos. Would've thought it was obvious I wasn't referring to him as slow.
Varcoe also to be replaced when wells is fit.
If you accept mediocrity, we will stay mediocre.
That skill level would've seen us thumped by Adelaide.
He also doesn't get allot of the ball and isn't a good kick and is plodder. His ability to get the handpass out is great but Pendles, Sidebottom, Adams and De Goey can all do that and more. His ability to tackle, get the first handball out to runners and strength in the contest is great. He has shown he can play at AFL level.

He's someone who can play role but he's not someone who should go into the side ahead of De Goey, Fasolo or Elliott.
That gets a like for your reference to different strokes, very good SirWhat you talking about Wills?
With regard to Elliott's fitness, I stood next to Collingwood interchange bench and although it is hard to read his emotions, didn't really see him blowing hard and played most of the game with usual (no extended sit outs) interchange times.
I really believe if he comes up okay training this week, should be a definite in.
What do you think CFC2010, mattys123 and TradeDraft ?
would not have seen how hard he leads and more importantly to right spots forcing players to honour his lead.
I don't mind him getting an opportunity, nows just not the time.Despite only playing six games at afl level is averaging 17 touches and 8 tackles a game.
I liked the look of him late 2016 and he dominated yesterday. Why not have another look at him at afl level?
Just on Elliott again, people in their reclinerswould not have seen how hard he leads and more importantly to right spots forcing players to honour his lead.
Without a doubt our best leading forward...if he pulled up ok he has to be a certainty along with De Goey. Being a laborer has worked wonders![]()

1 tackle but he did have 3 assists.
I just think Fasolo will give us more scoring options
Elliott is so far our best leading forward that nobody is on the same page.Just on Elliott again, people in their reclinerswould not have seen how hard he leads and more importantly to right spots forcing players to honour his lead.
