I reckon for laughs bring in the best 3 from the VFL - Blair, Smith and Mayne !
Would be a laugh, Smith’s out injured and did no to play

Outs: Stephenson, Crocker.
In: Fas, De Goey

Stephenson has shown he is capable, but won't have the consistency yet. Crocker unlucky, but Fas makes the forwards much more dangerous. Don't think they will play Elliot. Can see them holding him back for Anzac day.

Maybe I’m just being reactionary but I have a feeling we are gonna win this game
Have been to Adelaide twice before and we have won both times, I will be there this week so hope you are right.

if Varcoe is to stay in the team i would like to see him switch position with Maynard, I just dont think he does enough as a forward. Also would like to see how
Maynard or even Langdon . does up there. Langdon being such a good mark might play the Crocker role better than Crocker.

Varcoe has had 3 poor weeks. He should be dropped. My changes:
In: Elliott, Fasolo, De Goey
Out: Stephenson, Crocker, Varcoe

How was varcoe poor yesterday? He is our only forward who pressures and tackles inside our 50. Set up the first two goals

In: Elliot and JDG

Out: Stephenson and Crocker

Hopefully Sidey doesn’t get rubbed out but if he does Wills would have to go close on today's performance.

I would bring in De Goey, Elliot and Fasolo.
I think this game can set up our season. We must absolutely try and win, at any costs. 2-2 is so much better than 1-3 then playing Essendon and Richmond. If we can enter round 7 at 3-3, we have done amazing.

Stephenson, Brown and Crocker are the players I would drop. I really like Crocker, and if it wasn’t him it would be Phillips or Varcoe.

They’re averaging 103 points per game. They kicked 118 against the Tigers. We need to score heavily. We are not gonna win with a score below 90. We need at least 16+ goals. We need to kick straight.

I think this match defines our season.

Phillips does nothing right. He fumbles all the time, makes terrible decisions and can’t kick.

The only thing he can do is run all day. It’s that ability to run that gets him the 20pos he does.

Yeah, reading the play well and getting in to position to get 30 touches is doing nothing right.

Smile once in a while bro.

Agreed, he's never been a 20 plus possession winner. Usually around the 10-12 possies with the odd game 15+.

He's there to harass and put pressure on the opposition. Would like to see him hit the scoreboard more often though. Should be kicking 3-4 goals a few times each season and averaging at least 1-2 per game.

I think we gonna cause a huge upset.
No Brad crouch or Matt crouch for them and Sloane didn't look right tonight with his injured foot.
Plays perfectly into our strength of the midfield. We a real shot.

I think there is less than 10% chance Elliot plays this week in the 1ns.

From what I saw today he was huffing and puffing late in to the second quarter and will need another game or two in the VFL. Going by what Collingwood have done the last few years with players coming back from injuries, he is at best a 50% chance of playing ANZAC Day. However, the Collingwood of the last five years continue to shock and surprise at the selection table so it's anyone's guess.

At this stage I would have Out. Crocker, Stephenson and Langdon In. Fasolo, DeGoey and Mihocek but it's not like we have a 22 good enough to keep players out. Mayne and Blair should already be in the side and Mihocek I want to see play this week.

Beating Carlton doesn't mean we make fewer changes. Personally, I would make 5-6 changes. We have better players almost ready to return and beating a bottom two side by 4 goals shouldn't mean 3 or more players don't get dropped. If we play like we did against the Blues this coming weekend, we wont get within 10 goals.

I just want to see us be competitive for most of the game but reality is it's a bottom 4 side going interstate against the potential premier this season and I just can't see us getting withing 7-8 goals unfortunately. Top 2 best skilled side on their home ground against arguably the worst and then you have not only are they so well structured all around the ground, but their forward line is scary when you compare them to our backs.

On paper if the Crows are switched on they are one of the worst sides match up wise for us. Both Crouches being out mean very little in the out come here, in fact they could let us borrow both Crouches fully fit and it will barely make much difference. I dread playing Essendon, Hawthorn and Adelaide (unless it's at the G) and sadly we play all of the three in the first five rounds.

Crows by 67 points :(

Need another tall defender to play this week? They have Walker, McGovern and Jenkins...
Dunn to Walker
Howe to McGovern
Maybe Reid to swing back and play on Jenkins? Or bring in Mihochek

Hard to drop too many but I am only going by what I see as our best 22 for this season so always going to be a few unlucky players to be dropped. Stephenson hasn't been bad but DeGoey is an upgrade at the moment - play him in the middle in the VFL for a few weeks but I reckon he will work his way back in.

Elliott for Crocker is a no brainer.

OUTS: Crocker, Stephenson
INS: DeGoey, Elliott

B - Maynard Dunn Sharenberg
HB - Murray Howe Crisp
C - Treloar Pendlebury Aish
HF - Varcoe WHE Sidebottom
F - Elliott Reid Thomas
R - Grundy Adams DeGoey
INT - Cox Brown Phillips Langdon

I can see you're a glass half empty kind of guy. ..
Actually, maybe a glass with just the dregs.
No, let's add a floating ciggy butt to those dregs.

Blair and Mayne should never enter the conversation.

Would think JDG is a lock with either Elliott or faz a strong chance, for those suggesting brown out why?? Had a good game with thirst for the contest
Stephenson looks to be the one to make way but would be happy to see him retain his spot shown some good signs and brings pace, but probably time to go to the vfl with a taste of the big time will serve him well for his development .

De Goey in a no brainer for Stephenson you would think.

Elliott if ready OR if not Fasolo in for the unlucky Crocker.

They would be the two anticipated changes that logically follows.

Suggest some unlucky players that will miss or are getting very close to being looked at:

Wills, Sier, McLarty.

Note: suspect strongly now players Blair, Mayne are seen as depth only these days.
Surpassed by Brown, Crocker, Thomas.

Whoever pulled up better between Faz and Elliot to go in for Crocker. Will be nice to see both of them eventually crumbing off Cox.

Stephenson didn't do enough and needs a rest so straight upgrade to JDG is a no brainer.

Varcoe didn't do enough but I would give him another week.

Due to visitors, have only seen replay of 1st quarter and at this stage have Stephenson and Phillips out for JDG and Elliott.
No other change unless there are injuries.

Watching their game against the Saints last night, think we are a big chance to win if we bring the same effort and Grundy can dominate.

I' like to see the following happen

Outs: Stephenson ( been ok and looks a bright prospect); Brown (bit unlucky); Varcoe ( better options up forward)

Ins: DeGoey (no brainer); Wills (reward VFL form); Fasolo

No way Elliot plays given limited preparation over pre season. I wouldn't mind seeing McLarty played at some point and Sier as well.
