He also missed from 15 out for the sealer, Johnnos goal would have got them back in it, not won it.

Experience means nothing if the game has passed you by. Blair is a good VFL player now, and not part of our future. There are more talented kids who should be playing ahead of him now.

Fasolo, Degoey, Daicos and Seir is who I'd like to see included. Re-balance this 22 with some class and skill.

I like it. But Sier over Wills? I think it might be a bit early on Sier. It's the only good game he's played in three years for us. I do apreciate the thought about adding class where possible.

It doesn't necessarily work that way, though. Otherwise from all reports Oxley should be coming in.

We know Blair isn't good enough now. We know Blair will never be good enough.

We don't know if (as an example) Wills is good enough now. We don't know if Wills will be good enough in the future.

We are not winning the flag this year.

I agree, it appears at times that Bucks is picking teams for his own future, Although God knows why Blair would come into that equation, just get some games into some kids, I reckon the likes of Daicos, Wills and Sier would offer the same amount of impact as Blair

Daicos maybe but the other two have done nothing to suggest that can handle the pressure of a hostile Adelaide crowd.

If it’s wet we will need Blair’s aggression, particularly with Adams out.

You can't just play a player because he is a kid and needs games.

The most important part of developing a young player IMO is VFL and work their way up. You don't want complacency or you end up like Melbourne. Crap.

They don't have the culture to be successful because of that.

I don’t agree. The only consideration for selection is who is best placed to help the team win now. If it is a wet game then my preference is Blair.

I can't believe this Blair hatred. He has been forced to earn his spot unlike the past and he has, so if he is in then I have no issue with that knowing he has earnt his place and not gifted.

Same goes for Mayne. Fasolo hasn't earnt his spot back and if he gets named over the other two, it would be wrong.

If you watched the VFL last week you would know that Fasolo, Wills, Sier, Mayne and daisos were streets ahead of Blair

Oh for god sake. He's backing a young player who hasn't done much wrong. Just because they are light, doesn't mean they play like it. Just back the kid ffs.

It’s not about getting stuck into him, it’s about what his best for his development and best for the side and that is for him to go back to the twos. I am prepared to back that he will have a long career at the Pies but he shouldn’t be immune from being dropped due to being a kid

Blair has proved time and time again that he is a liability in 4/5 games. So really there’s an 80% chance that he’ll be a liability and a 20% chance he’ll have a good game. With those odds I’d rather give a younger player with a higher ceiling an opportunity.

I've had plenty of love for Blair. He's a trooper whose toil rarely gets its deserved appreciation, and he's now toiling well enough in the VFL. But even there his work rate doesn't always make up for the ineffectiveness of his disposals.

I don't think Daicos has travelled to Adelaide, but I think he'd be a better option now than Blair. He was a much more clean, precise, and damaging player than Blair on the weekend. He hustled, and his instinct was to attack (i.e. kick forward). Even if last weekend's opposition was a bit underwhelming, Daicos put his hand up the highest I think deserves a chance before Blair to replicate his good work at senior level. I'd be excited if Daics can give us a similar output to Callum Brown.

JDG for Adams, Wills for Cox if too wet. Faz for Stevo if fit.

Wills has enough mongrel to take on the 2nd ruck role at times if wet.
