6 disposals last week is working hard enough?

Please.

It's getting embarrassing now that he continues to be overlooked yet when you look at some of these individual performances at senior level, they just don't add up.
He doesn’t chase.

Greenwood? Surely he needs a VFL game?

Interesting sending all three senior bodies to Adelaide.

I'd be expecting Mayne to be a late in, Blair the "in case of emergency" emergency, and Greenwood to cut the oranges.

The emergencies are Blair, Mayne, Fas, and Mihocek. No Greenwood.

Not sure the greenwood thing?

Agree suspect if Mason is seen as being “too wet” it will be Mayne jumping in.

Blair now knows he’s in the If needed break glass option. He’s the one guy you know could slot straight in and give his all irrespective how much he’s played VFL.

Fas is not working hard enough it seems.

Not according to Buckley, said last week his work rate and form is good. This week he also said his form is good but hinted there is no room for him...

He tried to say that the individuals are playing their roles in the AFL side so Fax has to just keep putting his hand up until an opportunity opens.

Stephenson looked cooked last week and ridiculously off the pace. He had 6 touches and has yet to have any scoreboard impact in the first 3 rounds. I like the kid but we need to be real here.
Not only would Fas give you 6 touches minimum- he'd either have kicked a goal or had some form of scoreboard impact in that time too.

Seems like Nathan likes to be chasing tail, good luck tomorrow- if we fail to find ways to score goals, he will have no excuses whatsoever.
We aren't playing a second rate Carlton.

Greenwood isn’t an emergency, he was just rifling off the small grunt types of players.

Afaik Greenwood is still not available for selection at any level.

According to the clubs twitter feed, he needs to work on his defensive pressure.

And I like hearing that.

I’m a bit in the Crocker is going ok camp, has that competitive attitude. Besides when Elliott is ready, it’s probably Crocker getting chopped.

Don’t worry, Blair or Mayne are available to come in for him.

We aren't in the premiership race so I like to see kids getting games, not like Fasolo is an all Australian calibre player being left out for him.

Anyone thinking Mayne late in for Cox depending on weather? Really thought this would be Chris' redemption game.

For a side thats 1 win out of 3 and struggling to hit the score board, I find it a worrying comment that all the forwards are playing to instruction.

Apparently the word of a media employee on Twitter is worth more than the word of the coach these days.

Honestly, it seems like this is all code for Fas not being in the right head space to cope with the pressure of senior footy atm.

Agreed I do like to see kids but Fas is our second most natural goal kicker/forward 50 player. He's not an over the hill veteran like a Varcoe.

To our team, he's very important.

I'm nervous as to how we will find goals tomorrow night- this isn't Carlton.

They've definitely gone tall up forward with Fogarty coming in, think we match up ok.

Fair points.

I’m ok with Fasolo, has talent sure, has sometimes a blinder but overall he’s just not an Elliott level player.
Hence no issues with playing Stephenson over say the Fas.

But that’s just my view.

Not quite sure what you mean.

But I’m not as fussed on Fasolo this way or that. I’m really dirty Elliott isn’t as healthy as we’d like.
He’s a difference maker.

But if the Fas does the hard work he’ll be back in.

Hocking said hes going well and will continue to work on his defensive pressure in the VFL.

Buckley said when asked directly about his def workrate last week that Faz was meeting it but they wanted to see it for longer.

Ie they want it to be sustained weekly over time but so far he has.

Buckley this week also said his fitness and form has been good but hinted at no room for him due to others performing their "roles".

Maybe. Hope he’s ok.

I just mean generally I'd rather the senior blokes be the carry over. Kids like Daicos, Sier, McLarty, etc need the momentum of regular game time
