Get it out of you head that Bellchambers is ready, let me put it VERY simple for you. He isn't. And if anything we were top heavy against Adelaide. It was a horrid night for marking all accross the board as it was very dewy and it made it difficult. For mine unless Watson is fit, no changes for mine.

Agreed. I thought McPhee played very well as the third tall in the forward line, so give him another oportunity to show what he has to offer there. We have been chopping and changing our team week in, week out due to a number of circumstances, would be nice to see the magical words this week. NO CHANGE - unless Watson is fit of course.

i think we need stability as well however if either watson or neagle are fit i think they should come straight back into the lineup...
we could really stretch the hawks defence with lucas lloyd neagle and mcphee down there not to mention hille drifting forward.. they have brown who plays well on lucas (however knights should take advantage and leave lucas 1 out in the square against brown), croad on lloyd, gilham on mcphee then neagle and hille will have a day out..
we could really stretch them for height

In: Michael, Neagle, Watson.
Out: Pears, Hislop (injured), Slattery.

Playing kids is the go, but i'd still play Mal sometimes...as in this week coz i think after a near miss v crows, we should have a real dip at hawthorn and see what we can do.

Watson if fit is a given (i'm sure stanton is hanging for it), and use Lloyd, Lucas and Neagle to try n stretch the only part of Hawthorn that looks mildly vunerable, their defence.

I would start Jetta on Rioli, and tell him to purely tag and stick to him like glue. Can always make a change if needed. Fletcher on Williams, Mal on Roughead, and Patty on Franklin.

For 5-7 mins a quarter (or as little as poss), i'd put Welsh playing 5-10 metres in front of Williams (who won't take too many hangers but would otherwise out lead welsh), Fletcher on Buddy and Ryder in the ruck to provide Hill with recovery.

Can't believe no one's talking about the stinking prune of a footballer Welsh.

Get him out as a strait swap for Rama.

Slattery can bugger off as well for Neagle of Watson if right.

WHy slag him off like that? It is only his second season and has shown some very good signs, hes bound to be inconsistent being so young.

He's probably in the team to play a similar role to that of Rioli, its hard not to compare the two, Rioli is streets ahead of Jetta in all facets and its his first year. Not to say Jetta won't develop and overtake Rioli but its human nature to compare like players.

I think he will develop better in the VFL. Ryder I am all for being in the ruck as I want to find out whether he will be a ruckman. He can always go back to CHB in the future. Who goes to Franklin, well I don't know. We'll get lapped anyway so does it really matter, Mal Michael maybe.

On Franklin??? :D:D:D

Buddy cleaned Fletcher up last year when on him... most importantly beat him for strength as well as all the other physical attributes.

cmon the donners, please do your research first b4 putting this crap up.
you will find that buddy sent adam mcphee to the cleaners first last year.

It's certainly not ideal, but prob neccessary for a part of each quarter. Not just the buddy match up, but also takes fletch away from Williams and exposes Welsh. Best option availible for our structure imo.
If Lazycock actually cared enough to play with heart, and work hard for a whole game (even if that means the poor baby has to push hard when he is tired), then we could rotate him off the bench and it wouldn't be neccessary. :D

"when on him"... I realise he didn't play the full game on Buddy if we are referring to round 6 when he kicked 9 goals. I think the final 4 were kicked on Fletcher.

One of which bounced off the man on the mark (Fletcher) straight into Buddy's hands. Make it 3 goals on Fletcher, in a team that won by 70 points.

I reckon they'll go with -

IN - Laycock
OUT - Hislop (inj)

think thats on the money
watson and neagle havent pulled up and hislop is a definate out. laycock seems the only possible player who could come in

question would it be worthwhile playing laycock 90% in the ruck and hille down forward for most of the game? laycock seems to do well when he is the sole ruckmen and with the hawks defence pretty small we could stretch them...

although one of the hawks main strengths is rebound from defence so it could be a bad idea
