Changes I'd make
Outs: Mackay(groin), Edwards( gaining lot of possessions but appears indecisive, selling teammates into trouble, slow and turning the ball over more than he normally would), Doughty( clanger king)

Inns: Van Berlo, Jaensch, Stevens or Henderson(if he gets promoted), Armstrong( if Stevo misses again or if Henderson's not promoted)

Outs: D-Mac :mad: (we can't take a trick), Petrenko, Cook

Ins: Jaensch, van Berlo, Stevens

Team Line up...

B: Johncock, Rutten, Rielly
HB: Doughty, Davis, van Berlo
C: Edwards, Vince, Jaensch
HF: Knights, Tippett, Dangerfield
F: McLeod, Walker, Porplyzia
R: Maric, Goodwin, Thompson
I: Stevens, Douglas, Schmidt, Burton

Put Goody in the Centre and say to him lead by example, show some spirit and kick it quickly into the forward line. Don't sit him in the backline, have him show the desperation and pride in the jumper needed to spark some confidence.

Go you Crows.

I would hope that we dont drop Patrenko. In my opinion I dont think we are really gaining anything by dropping him. If he is a player that we have earmarked as a potential first 22 player next season then we need to be proactive with his development this year rather than flip flopping him from between the SANFL and the AFL.

This has been a huge factor in our demise this year.

Bock and Otten were the two that generated the most run out of the backlines last year.

Since we don't have Otten it's been bad enough but when Bock is missing as well, we suffer really badly from their absence.

I still believe Bock is comfortably our most important (and therefore hardest to replace) player.

Losing Otten, then Bock, and not having Stiffy, absolutely killed us - we've had almost zero drive from the backlines.

Throw Goody to CHB and put Edwards and Macca on the two flanks, with the instruction to attack and create.

Goody could end up on Hall...luck to you, Simon!:thumbsu:

Then again .....mmm..Ormond Allen in ruck and Ellen FF ...stranger things have happened!

Spot on.

This is where our so called 'game plan' starts.

But nah its got nothing to do with injuries Neil Craig is to blame.

Link fixed.

Not happy about the Walker dropping. They play him out of position and wonder why he doesn't kick many goals. Honestly...

Congratulations to Henderson, our third rookie upgrade in as many weeks. Looks likely to make his debut as well, if the article on afl.com.au is to be believed:

Stevens & VB are handy "ins". Unlucky to lose Mackay to injury though.

Henderson <--> Walker
VB <--> Mackay
Stevens <--> ?????

Could well be. I wouldn't bet against it. We will find out in a little over an hour.

Do we need to name emergencies today, as it is a Friday game?

Should be a list of 22 plus 3 emergencies. The only change to this is for games occurring on Sunday (or later due to long weekends), where teams of 25 are named with an extended interchange.

is that why he played CHF in the 3rd qtr against the swans?

WTF?

Someone needs a Bex and a lie down.:confused:
:) Thanks. I see a number of people prefer "form over content" in terms of better english. Oh well. The message was that NC need show you, nor me, nothing - except that he and his coaches are doing their level best to do the hard things, the things that lead us to win. Picking and dropping players, as is oft talked about on bigfooty as the be-all and end-all, is only one facet of that.

Call for all the signs for supporters you like, that's a meaningless approach to footy. I'd prefer we win.
