Craig has NOT turned over the old brigade, and has NOT rebuilt the list.

you are not a shot at the flag by making up numbers in the 8 either.

Torney, Clarke, Hart, Massie would disagree. Just because you keep repeating yourself, dosent make it true.

sometimes I wonder if you are just playing dumb to get attention.

big game performance has always, and will always be the gold standard. it is measured, recognised and revered above all else.

if in your world you see it differently, that's up to you.

Good counter argument .....no facts or anything added but good diversion methodolgy

I won't acknowledge that because its not true. like too much of what you say, you either make it up and hope; or you know its a barefaced lie to begin with. either way, its pathetic.
it's true ......and who's lying

See anyone can make statements without support

Doesn't mean your right

Malthouse has rebuilt Collingwood twice, whilst craig has failed to rebuild adelaide at all.

Has he ......just again a plain lie with no fact in either case

Gee your great at short statements ....with no supporting info

2 can play that game

well the latter is lucky, and the former explains a great deal.

Trolling your own board is not cool :thumbsd:

And your getting on my nerves with stupid one liners :thumbsd:

You're right. Our defensive unit is identical to what it was six years ago, as is our forward line. What I wouldn't give for an All-Australian FB/CHB combination to handle the monster forwards. Goodwin, McLeod, Edwards, Ricciuto and Stenglein remain our starters in the centre for the vast majority of game time, and once Biglands and Doc "wish I could take a grab" Clarke return from injury we'll have our core back. We're still searching for a full forward, bit of luck and we'll snag one in the next few years.

I tire of McLeod and Ricciuto monopolising our best and fairest awards. When's the last time we had a 50+ goal kicker that wasn't Welsh? Terrible effort Neil.

Cro-Mo at least Amer put up an argument to support his case

You simply say not true or a lie and expect the average dumb ass to accept it as fact :thumbsd:

Blight can mount a counter argument

Any other stupid statements

just wow. 4 players in 6 years, great example.

the facts make it true, what benchmark do you use?

Goodwin
Burton
McLeod
Edwards

what was it the coach said last week, where would we be without those guys?

1. Agree, you are an average dumb ass.
2. these arguments have been made many, many times over. I feel no need to repost some facts for the 15th time because maybe your medication is affecting your memory.
3. if you're bored go troll the smash hits board instead.

you make it too easy Forrest.

1997 Adelaide, top 4th. best % in the league
1998 Adelaide 5th. best % in the league (by a lot)

care to explain which of 2007,2008,2009,2010 were comparable?

Stupid is as stupid does :D

* I'm sorry are our best players we cannot do without (according to craig last week) still >33 - yes/no?

* are the 3 players leading the coaches awards drafted 10 years ago or earlier? (McLeod, Goodwin, Johncock) Yes/No

* does our coach prefer to play a senior player at all costs? yes/no?

* has the average of our team remained constant at approx 26 years old, from round 1 2005, to round 7 2010 - yes/no?

* is that average still one of the highest in the league despite debuting a number of young players, and being in the bottom two? yes/no

yeah, what was I thinking.

somewhat telling you left out goodwin's name, why was that? :D

Malthouse has rebuilt Collingwood twice, whilst craig has failed to rebuild adelaide at all.

2 > 0.

It is a bit hard for Craig to rebuild a list when he is yet to bottom out. Malthouse bottomed out in his 6th year at Collingwood. Maybe this is Craigy's chance. Wrong year to do it though.

For all those expecting some falling on the sword .....forget it :thumbsd:

Forget the paper terminology ......as I understand Burtons knee is not right, not playing .......so he's injured!

The statement by Craig ....again as I read the article is his gut feel that Burtons leg needs strengthening .....emphasis gut feel

EC get a life ...... i was gracious to apologise yesterday but your carrying on like a schoolboy .....which is probably what you are

I post my own thoughts and POV for my amusement NOT to gain approval from anyone

quite simply ....don't like my views, don't read them ......then we're all happier

This is straw clutching at it's finest, he isnt injured he has been dropped for being out of form and more importantly his lack of a penetrating kick.

The same argument that you have claimed about Walker now applies to Burton ie he has been dropped and given aspects that he needs to work on to get back into the side which is to try and strengthen his leg to improve his kicking distance.

Look I think there is a lot more validity to that line of thinking, than pretending we have already rebuilt.

Congratulations, you've found 4 players out of 22 who haven't been turned over in the 6 years that Neil Craig has been in charge.

Let's look at the rest of the team:
Doughty - old school
Rutten - barely played under Ayres, definitely a Craig player
Davis - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
van Berlo - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Bock - barely played under Ayres, definitely a Craig player
Cook - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Reilly - barely played under Ayres, definitely a Craig player
Vince - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Douglas - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Tippett - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Petrenko - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Walker - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Stevens - barely played under Ayres, definitely a Craig player
Maric - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Thompson - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Dangermouse - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Porplyzia - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Schmidt - wasn't on our list when Craig took over
Jaensch - wasn't on our list when Craig took over

So.. out of the 22 players named to play this week (+ Burton):
6 were established players under Ayres
4 were on our list, but were bit players at best under Ayres
13 weren't even on our list when Craig took over

but no... Craig hasn't rebuilt the team at all. What a monumentally stupid statement. You're better than that Crow-mo.

don't be disingenuous now, you are perfectly aware that was a reference to a direct quote. it wasn't hard to miss, it was ummm... quoted :p

so 10 players were inherited, thus have been constant who count a lot more than a stack of guys who have debuted in recent weeks and are no certainty to be on anyone's list in 3 years time.

Ps. you can't have Porplyzia as it was craig who originally delisted in him in 2004 :D

we still have one of the oldest teams in the league, far above what it should be for our current position on the ladder. Richmond's team against us was nearly 4 years younger old average

but no... Craig hasn't rebuilt the team at all. What a monumentally stupid statement. You're better than that Crow-mo.

except he's still heavily reliant on the same old players, who cares if he has a revolving door on the same spots. by his own admission we are still reliant on the old guys, which is what matters - would you like a link to your coaches award thread?

Further you know very well our B&F top 10's are still dominated by the old guard.

last year there were only 2 players in the top 10 drafted in the last 5 years. the year before, none.
that's a shocking indictment.

go check Collingwood's turnover since 2004 and if its comparable or thereabouts I'll happily concede.

I hear Bi-Lo has clues on special for $3.99 a pop this weekend, you should grab yourself one.

Incorrect, get your facts straight. Porplyzia was delisted by Gary Ayres at the end of 2003 after being rookie listed at the end of the 2002 season.
