Mcguane was caught once and dropped a mark, otherwise he was pretty good. I think people are imagining things. Most of his kicks were good and he stopped his opponent as usual.

Out: Simmo, Morton, Nahas, White, Nason(rest), King, Farmer
In: Post, Browne, Connors, Jackson, Taylor, Foley, Griffiths

Agree, with Thursty playing small on Miln, Maguane was really the only back playing tall, Astbury was lost in the back half and Lids had to take Kosi on more then 1 occasion, Luke did ok considering

If Mcguane kicks long more often like he did last night he'll cut most of the errors from his game. We should be signing him up and working on getting him to put on another 5kg and work on his composure in heavy traffic during the preseason. Mark Blake is someone who has really improved his composure with the ball. It can be improved. I really like Mcguane but this year he has tended to make that one mistake per game on average but he didn't do it that often the previous 2 seasons. If he used his nice long kick more often he'll be a better player but he does need to learn how to relax a bit when there are no clear options up the ground

In- Griffiths Connors Moore Jackson Browne
Out Morton (omit) Simmo (ret) Nason Nahas McGuane (all Leg)

I like the sound of Jackson Browne coming in.

Give Foley the next two weeks off.

Nahas and Nason were very flat and should have been Legged for the Saints game.

But seriously, Tambling, King, Morton, Simmonds are 4 definite outs.
So i take it you didnt watch the game then?

You wouldn't leg Morton? Surely that kind of performance is unacceptable for a player of his talent, especially when he was lucky to be getting a game anyway. Something's obviously not right with him, I believe the glandular fever story. If true he should certainly not be playing at any level and he shouldn't sharing drink bottles with anyone else!

Nahas needs to be dropped. Needs to go the VFL and learn how to crumb.
Nason should have a week off. 1st year player had a bad game - maybe needs a rest.
Morton deserves to be dropped.
McGuanne had a bad game and if Moore was right I would leave Thursfield in instead of him.

I'm a little concerned about wot posters are saying, tambling finally looked fit busted his backside in the first half finally moved into defence and looked really good, I give up on one eyed supporters.

Any way

Out: the dumbest footballer in the Afl macgaune, thurstfield, king, nason needs a rest, farmer who played on Milne all nite, simmonds & Morton looks low on confidence.

In: Moore griffiths gouridis browne foley Jackson Connors

Hard to drop players but there are a few to come back.

I'd rest Martin with that corky and give Nason a break too.

OUT: Simmo, Martin, Astbury and Nason
IN: Polak, Jackson, Connors and Griffiths

Out:
Simmonds
Thursfield/McGuane (take your pick but we need one)
Nahas
White
Farmer
Nason

Ins:
Conners
Foley
Griffiths
Vickery (if still rested then Browne or Polak)
Gourdis
Jackson

Morton is lucky. I thought he tried hard defensively, maybe needs to adjust his game and find the balance between defence and attack.

I agree DT007. People don't seem to recognise that Richie is a very courageous footballer and puts his head over the ball every time. He is defintely in our best 22 and needs to remain in the side and he'll find a bit of form - his effort cannot be questioned.
