How do you know that?

Has he played a SANFl game since he was dropped? I think he has, don't think he played that well from what I read. Craigy has said he won't gift games to young players. Don't get me wrong I don't mind the Cookie Monster, but has he done enough to come straight back in?

Cook was the player who got omitted to make way for Edwards last week. Thus he should be regarded as being the incumbent - we need to find a reason why he should NOT be selected, rather than the other way around.

Apparently Talia injured a knee at training, so he won't be in.
Not another knee injury. How many is that for the season - 8 or 9?
  • Otten
  • Moran (albeit 2009 injury)
  • Symes
  • McLeod
  • Young
  • Burton
  • Hentschel
  • Thompson (playing with knee tendonitis)
  • Tippett (playing with knee tendonitis)
  • Talia
Have I missed anyone? It's gone way beyond the point of being ridiculous.

If I were a bookie:
Cook - $1.23
Henderson - $1.47
Schmidt - $2.02
Donnelly - $1.01 (shortenned due to a massive bet placed by a 6'4 pale looking bloke in a Bays polo)

pretty disappointing news with Talia, looked serious as he was taken off on a stretcher, its not as if he limped off.

Jesus! I want to know who broke however many mirrors, walked under however many ladders and had however many black cats walk in front of them before this season started! Unbe-bloody-lievable!

If this is true, if he's done a serious injury, I'm...

What can be said?
Pictures say 1000 words....

I didnt see the player as I was driving past, I just saw the stretcher going off with someone laying on it with medical staff around him, my initial guess was Griffin, Hentschel or Talia, I was pretty disappointed when I heard the confirmation on the radio.

You've got to be kidding me.

Really hope we're not talking ACL here.
Taken from Team Thursday on the AFC website:
Calum:
Daniel Talia will have a knee scan later this afternoon and is expected to have surgery tonight or tomorrow morning.

Our medical team believe he has lateral meniscus damage but this will not be clear until the scan.

There are unlikely to be any further updates on Daniel until tomorrow.
