Jordie McKenzie
Kicks 8, Handballs 8, Marks 3, Tackles 4, Assists 4
– Jordie was fantastic. He was in our top three players on the day. Week after week now, he's starting to show his run and ability. He's also clean with the ball and is able to find teammates from clearances.

sounds exactly like what we are after and the big ground of subi should suit. we have 2 spots for LTI's with both blease and garland out long term so I think a game is in order... not sure exactly who he comes in for but I want to see him play in the next couple of weeks because otherwise he may very well struggle once grimes, buckley, wona etc are fit...

Bate definitely needs a run in the 2s, been fairly rubbish last couple of weeks... McNamara should be close... think newton will be highly considered this week... with robbo back he gets the third defender and could be real dangerous... just want to see him get 4-5 weeks as a last chance... if he doesn't do anything its all over... not like its really guna cost us big... I thought you tankers would be wanting him in

wouldnt be surprised to see a few players rested as of the long trip... could be interesting...

Well done herald sun R12 We play Essendon, R13 we play Brisbane at the Gabba.

I think we should debut him in R14 against West Coast at the G. That would be the best marketing idea. Instead of getting the normal 15k to a home game against an interstate team we might get 25k this way.

Anyways my changes this week would be
OUT-
Bate( has been aweful, lookis like the only player who has gone backwards this season)
IN-
Wonamirri
I think that's a great idea! now imagine if we were to debut nick nat on the same day. It would create a lot of interest from neutral supporters as well.. pick 1 and pick 2 of the 08 draft playing their first senior game against each other. Hopefully it would get crowds to your gate, which can only be a good thing.

Goodluck on the weekend by the way

Just a quick question.

Will Strauss play for the dees this year you reckon?

If yes, any chance to debut in the first half of the year?

I'd say he would play this year, barring injury of course.

In the first half of the year? No. He's just coming back from an ankle injury and I think he was playing in the Casey reserves the weekend just gone. Seeing as Casey have a bye this weekend, I'd say he'd be there again and he'd need at least 3 weeks of utter dominance to get into the team before the halfway point of the season.
