I'm happy to see Smith in because he is going to be a better bowler and batter than North anyway, but why Johnson and Beer? What has Johnson done since he was dropped?

Also why would they name a 12 man squad a week or whatever out from the next test, should have been 14 or 15, with Hauritz and Ferguson in there aswell.

No BACCS but Ferguson has proved himself to at least be in the squad
