Agree. Hate the way zorks goes about it sometimes.
Most opposition team fans have a different opinion to yours. :)

To be honest though I like Matho more than Zorks.

Discussion about a month ago on here, about which were the campaigners on our team.

Surprisingly Matho wasn't mentioned (until I chimed in).

Zorko was/is public enemy number 1.

Mitch Robbo was also singled out.

The third caught me by surprise when they include Cameron.

Come to think of it, Zorko and Cameron were the two most disliked, with there being some acknowledgement by some posters that players like MRobbo help you not get bullied by an opposition.

We must have the slowest defence in the competition. Hodge, Lester and Witherden are all slow plodders. Gardiner has lost his pace this season, probably coming back from a PCL injury to early. Your medium forwards and Lukosius should look to create as much space in the forward half the ground as possible and just outrun our defenders back to goal.

And we only have the one small defender in debutant Answerth. He's faster, but he's not lightning fast.

Corbett is upgrade on Burgess. It is his AFL debut but he got some marking and leading qualities. It will be interesting how he goes against your defence.

Wish he stopped milking for free. Borderline embarrassing. It also looks like several other Lions players started to copy him.
This has been a bit of a groupthink. Hasn't looked for any more head high frees than any regular player since his 1st season.

Dorko has been pretty much irrelevant this year
If we're looking to win this and we're playing Touk as a run with I'd suggest Neale is the fish we need to fry
I understand but for the sake of the rivalry I really hope Touk spends a bit of time playing on Zorko. It's a selling point for future QClashes.

Corbett was always rated higher than Burgess and almost definitely would have taken his place from rounds 1-5 had he been healthy. Dew really rates Corbett and the expectation is that he's the type of forward who can consistently kick goals for us week in, week out. I can't wait to see him take a huge mark because I know his vertical leap is next level and his contested marking ability is very good.

No doubt he is an exciting prospect. You could see straight in NEAFL games he is a class. But it is his first AFL game, I hope people don't expect too much. It depends how our midfield goes but if it can provide reasonable supply I think Corbett, Wright, Martin, Lukosius, Sexton will trouble Lions defence which looks slow. Macpherson, Holman, Ainsworth could be handy too. Pity Powell and Weller are out. Still a bit surprised nobody tips Suns at all.

Rich has a bit of zip. Also like the idea one of our posters posited to send Zorko to the back line. Aside from that sooner Zac Bailey gets back the better.

I'd guess most Suns fans would have relatively low expectations on him in his debut game. If he manages a goal or two, takes some good contested marks and leads well then I'll be very pleased. His aerobic base is supposed to be quite strong so I'm expecting him to provide some good leads and drag his direct opponent away from 2MP.

Matho probably #2 on my list haha. Needs to earn the swagger he can put on at times.
Don't get the Robinson hate, every team needs one of his type. Not the smartest looking bloke but happily puts his body on the line for his team.
Cameron hate is surely just that a QLD team got him and the southern states are jealous?

Zorks last couple of seasons he has started very poor. Not sure what it is.
Will no doubt have his 2019 breakout game with us
We turned grandpa Betts season around last week, why not Dorks?
We're good like that;)

Appreciate the courtesy (except Miller will have other ideas).

No. I was talking Gold Coast board specifically.

The Cameron hate was from on here a couple of weeks ago.

Ah I must've missed it. Maybe some thought we would get him? I dunno he's been great for your boys, he's got 20 games he can play well in other then the q clash [emoji23]

As usual nervous on game day. The lions have shown how much fire power they can put on the scoreboard when they play on their terms, we need the manic pressure again to force turnovers and not to consistently turn it over ourselves with poor decision making, if we don't this could get ugly. We haven't lost a game at Metricon yet this year, hopefully we can make it 3 for 3, Go Suns!

I feel good about this.
Close win.
Jack Bowes for Ashcroft medalist.
Touk to made Zorko his bitch.... again.
I'm feeling good, too. It would be nice to win by more than a goal and improve our percentage but I suspect the final margin will probably be pretty close. A win today will get us back in the top 8 and should keep us there at the end of the round if results fall the way they should.

Also, if Dew has a sense for theatre he'll send Touk straight to Zorko at the first bounce (regardless of starting positions) but I feel Touk will likely spend more time on Neale today. Can't wait to see how Corbett goes and generally just really excited for this one!

I feel good about this.

I think Brissy will have our measure, they always seem to do in these sort of games. We looked tired after half time last week and with not many changes this week im not sure if we will have the legs to go 4 quarters. Happy to be proven wrong though! Looking forward to a big game from Bowes.
