The cynical part of my mind tells me this is because there are more question marks over the rest of the team, to break these outs early it will keep the options open for other 50/50 prospects.

Was expecting Tippett and Mitchell out and think the coaches were too. The replacements will be harden for the job as this is the Swans.. It's up to us to be ready for whoever comes in

Chappy jumped, Richards didnt. If you Jump into a bump you are graded as reckless rather than negligent.

There's only a handful of players at the club that I'd want rushed back after an 8-10 week layoff and I can't say Ibbo is one of them, as good as he was this year. Should just get himself right for next year.
Ibbo as age on his side and with a full preseason will be fit and raring to go , same for Clancee .
But still sorry for them not to be available for the Grand Final.

I agree. And to make it worse, most of the day everyone over here (eastern states) were saying Freo are way to good for Sydney. But suddenly over the last few hours, all the media are turning and saying the fresh Sydney ins will replace tired legs and that we will choke against the reigning premiers. And that Carlton played them back into form. As if I wasn't nervous enough !!! I want this win so so bad. No GF will be devastating after coming this far
