I think the advantage with playing Rocky head to head against other players instead of another one of our mids, is that Rocky gets involved, he knows how to rack up the ball, and he can kick a goal. He is a player that the opposition player can't ignore, and it makes them more responsible as well. As opposed to a hard tag, where the player still just tries to play his natural game, he just always has someone in his back pocket. Rocky's opponent will have to play a bit defensively on him, and make sure they know where he is as well. I don't think any of our other mids would command that kind of attention from someone, even if they have a better defensive game such as Redden.
