I have a feeling Mclean won't play........wouldn't he be named in the starting 18 if he was a certainty?
He should play. Apparently he just pulled up sore last week. What I'm happy about this game is, we have three midfielders that they will have to tag- Johnstone, who is in superb form and will cut teams in half if they give him an inch. Bruce played well last week and I think he will run into more form this week. Finally we have Moloney who was very good last week and has been good in the last few weeks. I think the midfield is where this game will be won and if we can get on top early I think we will take it fairly easily, but if they get a few early and get their confidence up they will be hard to beat. Should be a great game with a 60,000+ crowd.

Nicholson's matchups will either be T Cloke who has superior mobility and will make Nicholson play too far from the goalsquare, or Rusling, who after just two games really only is a decoy forward who will lead wide to the pockets and keep the goal square open for Tarrant and Caracella.

I think big Al will spend a lot of time on the bench, and I hope Collingwood will be able to exploit this lack of depth in their interchanges. If they get an injury or a player out of form, it may leave them with only two useful players on the bench.
I'd say Cloke's mobility is no better than Fevolas or Richo's, and Nicho killed them both. I wanted to throw in Rocca but that's pushing it. He's not the most fashionable player around, and I bag him, but he's in terrific form at the moment. Cloke has been great, but underestimate Nicho at your own peril. Fev, Richo and Rocca are all better than Cloke.

At any rate, you should be worrying about stopping our forward line which is far superior to yours. Your backline will have more trouble than ours, I can assure you of that.

Lol. No, Cowboy he was talking about Travis Cloke, while arguably having the same mobility as Fevola and Richo, he is able to cleanly pick the ball off the ground unlike these two, not your backlines inability to do so ;)
