Can’t see him moving back here myself because happy wife, happy life.

I wasn't aware of his family business but it would be frustrating for him not being able to get a game in a team ranked 17th in the AFL. I would love to have him back at Port, particularly if North are paying part of his salary.

I still rate Polec very highly. I think Shaw is out of his depth coaching wise and its more of an indictment on Shaw than Polec.

I would like Woodcock to be given a chance. If not I would prefer keeping Sutcliffe over Motlop who has been poor this season. In the last 4 games he's played, Motlop has had <10 disposals. Sutcliffe has only played 3 times this year against GWS, Richmond and Sydney and we've won all those games. Selections won't be too important this round though as North look despondent and terrible. They've lost 10 of their last 11 games with that 1 win coming over Adelaide.

Sutcliffe is averaging less possessions per game than Motlop and doesn't have the threat to win it off his own boot like Motlop. Motlop out for a kick up the butt is fine but Sutcliffe preferred to Motlop is pretty dumb.

I think with a pre-finals bye and 7 day breaks, we settle the team down and try and get 3 full games into what we see as our best 22.

For me, that's getting Houston in, Farrell in and Ladhams next week. Going out should be Bonner, Sutcliffe and Westhoff. Arguable too whether Georgiades could come in for Ebert.

I'm probably being too harsh on Motlop. For the amount of money he's on he must have one of the highest disposal to $ ratios in the league. It could be a good game to bring him in and try and get some form and match fitness. On the other hand if Kenny decides to leave Motlop out for another week I'm not too fussed about it either.
