When's he shown X factor? 1-2 games against a sanfl standard side.I think bringing in Motlop pre-finals is smart because if you can get him into form he is a huge x-factor

He played one good final in a losing side against Richmond years ago.Haha
I agree with the Motlop frustration, but i think his top end is better than Woodcock and he can produce moments of magic. He has X factor and has played well in finals before.
I'd rather woodcock. Shows more defensive pressure and will be on our list in 2 years. Was he playing in a 16 a side scratch match against adelaides nuffie reserves with a mile of space?Kicked a bag in the reserves scratch match

Sydney's the day before the AFL game, I'd imagine it was reduced numbers, Tobin Cox and someone else were playing for Sydney as well.I'd rather woodcock. He was one of Geelongs best players in the 2017 finals series. He played one good final in a losing side against Richmond years ago.
I am good at guessingArsene Wenger, you know you have made it on BigFooty when you can make predictions on team selections and it is taken as gospel...

Good changes.
We know Motlop is inconsistent but if we would just get him to hit peak form leading into finals it could make a massive difference.

I think they're the right changes. There's a strong case for Woodcock instead of Mots but I think they've chosen the right way should this be the selections.Motlop Houston IN
Sutcliffe Bonner OUT
But a complete lack of defensive effort and a lot of squibbing in the contested stuff.Inconsistent Motlop is still 10 possessions which is what Sutcliffe got last week
Double liked if they insist on making that spot a single choice between Mots and Sutcliffe it’s no choice at all imoInconsistent Motlop is still 10 possessions which is what Sutcliffe got last week

Sutcliffe won’t be dropped after 1 week for the person he replaced. He played a reasonable game.I think they're the right changes. There's a strong case for Woodcock instead of Mots but I think they've chosen the right way should this be the selections.
Either Mots or Woodcock > Sutcliffe
Houston > Bonner
For the 2020 season so far. Not much to split Steven M and Boyd W:
You are missing one vital stat though...
Steven Motlop 179 games.
Boyd Woodcock 4 games.
On that basis I expect a lot more from Motlop.
