Yep all the vic centric media are putting the heat on the dees to do us over - to be expected as it helps their victorian view of the world.
I hope we do 'em by 5 or 6 goals.
interesting article about our record sub-90 defensive streak..

"Since Rnd.1 West Coast have not conceded 90 points or more at any stage.
That run of 19 consecutive games without letting an opponent reach 90 is a record for the post-1990 AFL era,
bettering Sydney’s mark of 17 from last season.
Why is a figure like 90 points significant? Consider this: Over almost three decades of grand finals in the AFL era,
only once has a team scored more than 90 and lost (St Kilda’s 94 in 1997).
The team that lifts the cup has passed 90 all bar six times – and that includes two totals of 89.
If you keep your opponent to under 90, you give yourself every chance of winning.
And the Eagles have done plenty of both this season..."

Doesn't guarantee a win on Sunday however..they'll chuck everything at us, try to lock down Gov
and Darling, hammer us in the mid - standard M.O, but they won't be able to shutdown Gaff!!?
I keep wanting to see Eagles wheel out their finals footy mode..maybe this is the week?
If we get done, without Gaff, after a close one last week, is it time to panic?
Eagles by 5-6 would be sweet!

Richmond has secured a top 2 position and has already resting their key players.
What will happen to our line up on Sunday if Collingwood, Hawthorn and GWS all lose on Saturday - a day before our game? (Given that Sydney has scored 200 points less than WCE at this stage)
Best for WCE to keep their focus on the task this weekend (Demons) instead of worrying what other teams are doing (resting/line up).
Once you start thinking ahead or deviate from your regular routine would be highly likely a recipe for failure (Rd 21)...Very important this game is for top 2 position against a quality opposition team - beaten us here before recently so hopefully we're 110%switched on and focused for this game.

CARN the @#$%%€¥ Eagles

Expecting no changes, but concerned about our midfield being to one dimensional in terms of pace.

Out: Hutchings
In: Nelson/Mallen

If were going to be brave.
Your worried about our midfield yet wannna drop a mid for a backman or a tall forward??

While I think Hutchings probably holds his spot, Nelson is more than just a 'backman'. Some of Hutchings possessions last week were woeful - Auskick standard. Hutchings just needs to be tidy with his possessions yet he is mongrelling them forward and causing turnovers.

Watching the Demons miss the finals (even though they are the AFL's high scoring team) is probably the most interesting thing left in the season for Crows supporters. Do us a favour and smash the daylights out of these flog's please!

Thanks in advance! And good luck with finals!

Jog on you ****ing flog!
