We need pace. I dont think we can afford to play Warnock and Sandi in the same team yet. One has to develop more as a forward option before they play together again. Play Campbell or Gilmore as they can pinchhit and play forward. Webster and Solomon can not be in the side together so Im glad solly suspended.
My ins : Campbell, Collard (need a small forward) and Gilmore.
out: Parker, Solly and Warnock.

IN: Second Efforts, Heart and Teamwork
OUT: Clumsness and Skill Errors

if we make these changes, we will be on the road to victory!

Campbell and Collard would not have let the ball come out of our forward line with such ease. Campbell would of been a better forward option than McPharlin.

Warnock is not that slow, in fact I would have though he was as fast as Gilmore. Warnock also has good skills and can do time in the forward line.

Ins: Collard, Gilmore, Duffield
Outs: M.Carr, Solly, Parker

He almost certainly would be in the 22. And besides, we are a long way from having everyone fit.

You want to play the young guys, but you want to drop Dodd after one bad game. It's idiotic.

If Dodd has another couple of poor games I'd be happy to see him dropped for Scottie if Thornton is tearing it up in the wafl, but Thornton and Haddrill need atleast one more wafl game.

Thornton, Haddrill, Collard and Campbell would have made little to no difference yesterday. Our backline and forward line weren't the problem.

Quite often footballers are like horses when they come back from a spell, they are all fired up for their first game back but pull up sore and struggle second up. Heath Black's customary sublime skills were shocking in his first game for the season after just one wafl game because he didn't have the fitness for afl footy.

At no stage have I written that you are not entitled to your opinion. But when you write what I consider nonsense I am entitled to reply. If you don't like people disagreeing with your posts maybe you should put more thought into them before hitting Submit Reply.

CONTRADICTION POLICE WEE WAA WEE WAA :D

As was proved correct against the Crows.

I wasn't being a smartarse either Reveler................

Out: M Carr, Solomon, Parker
In: Collard, Walker, Thornton.

What the f*** does Collard have to do to get a game?

Also give Hayden a run in the midfield.

I think Collard may have made a little difference, not saying by including him we would have won the game but we are lacking a genuine crumber in the forward line. It was fine for cooky to do it against the crows but i cant see him doing that every week. Collard has been in hot form in the last 3 - 4 weeks in the WAFL and should be rewarded for his performance and so should James Walker who had 37 possessions in the midfield for Peel, he actually didnt do a lot wrong to get dropped. Thornton has played 2 reserves games and 1 league game in the WAFL so that is 3 games of match fitness so he would be really close this week if not a definate starter. Haddrill well he may need an extra week but i rate him highly and i think would make a difference to our side when he comes back. Again not saying he would have won us the game against Brisbane. We lack a lot of pace around the midfield as everyone knows, we continually get found out in that area. If we have thornton and haddrill or just one of them it may free up Hayden to have a crack in the guts. It couldnt hurt our structure in the back half too much if he spent some time in the middle.

My point with Dodd was he had 1 game against the Crows which he was arguably BOG. The other five games havent been anything to write home about.

I will take your point Dom about players second up like a racehorse. Therefore adjusted ins and outs.

Collard to replace Cook
Walker to replace Solomon
Thornton to replace Parker

Would love to bring in Campbell as well but we probably dont need to play him if we playing warnock and sandilands.

Out - M. Carr, Parker
In - Collard, Campbell

As much as I love him I'm very reluctantly dropping Parks. He was pretty bad on the w-end and I can't think of anyone else to drop for Campbell. I'd much rather McPharlin stay in the backline and have Kiwi as the 3rd tall in the forward line.

We've been lacking a genuine crumber all season and Collard's efforts definitely deserve a call up now he's over his preseason injuries. M. Carr has disappointed me all season so I'd give his tagging jobs to Crowley, who hasn't been great going forward this year anyway.

For me Warnock needs to play every game from here on in. He looks to be a real talent and the more games we can get under his belt in all conditions the better off we'll be. It's suicide these days to continually press your luck playing only one specialty ruckman. And if we drop Warnock every time it's raining what happens later in the season or in a final if we need him to stand up on a wet day?

I'm sure he's played in the rain for West Perth, but playing both the big fellas allows us to play them forward for a bit too. It would be silly to play either of them in the forward line in the rain, so best to go with an extra runner and let Sandi ruck for 85% of the game. If Sandi was to get injured then Warnie should play regardless of the conditions, but they'd go with Sandi + Gilmore in a final on a rainy day.

Forecast now looks good.
Sunday Fine. Min 11 Max 22

I'd like to see Parker dropped as much as any one else, but Harvey's comments reinforces what a lot of us thought, that Parker won't be omitted. Two or three consecutive performances like Sundays and he'll retire, can't see him going back to Subi.

Can't blame him, who would want to play for Subi.

IN: Collard, Walker, Duffield
OUT: Parker, Cook, Soloman

what I think will happen;

IN: Walker, Drum
OUT: Soloman, Cook.

Out: Solomon, Cook
In: Campbell, Collard

With Campbell maybe too top heavy but the only problem with talls is that are usually slower but Warnock, Sandliands, Pavlich, and Tarrant are all extremely mobile. Also, Pavlich can spend some time in the middle and maybe Campbell can play off a wing like the last game he played.

As for speed Collard will be light years quicker than Cook and Campbell would be just as quick as Solomon or quicker.

I had a look at training this morning and there was no-one - and I mean no-one - working as hard as Kiwi Campbell. He was the main man up forward, and I definitely liked what I saw. I will be very, very surprised if he doesn't play this weekend. Some of his leads up to half forward, and then kicks into Sandi on the lead from FF were beautiful to watch. Then his own leads from FF when he was switched there, and his straight as an arrow kicks for goal.... noice, noice. :thumbsu:

Why not put Campbell in the middle instead of Pav? I don't think we could spare Pav from the forward line, and I always hear how people are wanting a tall midfielder with pace'... Surely Kiwi has a decent pair of legs?

Kiwi doesnt have great acceleration. How about Tarrant on a wing?. Tarrant has great foot skills and speed.
