I didn't analyse his technique but it certainly seemed like he was doing something different yesterday. Maybe it was just a heavier ball so it fell better from his drop.

I'm not sure I understand the obsession with Ross.

I've seen him play quite a bit now and each time it is much the same. He seems to find the ball easily enough but his kicking is crap. I wonder if I've missed something because the word about town is that he kicks the ball well.

I don't know where a paper thin youngster with dodgy disposal fits into the side for the remainder of this season even if the results are no longer particularly important.

re colyer - it's a confidence and experience thing. the pace of afl is faster and thus more pressure. most players say they feel more comfortable after 50 games so with experience i think the penny will drop with colyer.

maybe it will take 100 games for melksham...

I'm not a tanking fan, but it would also lower out later round picks. (Plus very slightly increase the chance that he might slip to a second round).
