Our mids bar Kerr just seem to go into their shell too much when faced with bigger, better mids. We need a leader in the middle. Maybe NN will just continue to win games off his own boot/hand
it is very hard to think of examples in the past couple years where we've beaten quality teams, especially away from home.
that's the difference between us and sydney.
that's what separates us from the teams that can be thought of as legitimate premiership contenders.

We're getting closer the two games against the pies last year, and against hawks all in Melbourne. I know the hawks beat us pretty easily in the end, but apart from the first 10 mins we out scored them for the rest of the game. We're getting closer, and it could come round 13 I hope
Everyone is tipping us again. Starting to feel twitchy and nervous about that.
We have had excuses this year (injuries)but we blew it against collingwood in the finals last year (thanks embers) and we should have won mid year last year as well. Our midfield has been getting monstered against the best teams and we thought wellingham would help but alas he has been injured for most of the year. The main problems are a lack of clean hands around the stoppages and the inabilty of our mids to take advantage of our ruck dominance. Also we don't take the game on enough and tend to play safe and it allows teams to drop players back stopping one of our strengths, our stacked forward line.
I like Matt Campbell. It would be nice if commentator's knew every team's starting lineup and their players, but we can't ask for everything.

They are very bad ins for me. I'd like to think there would be either no change given these ins or Embley for DDD if he doesnt get up

I suspect that if Selwood plays it will be to blanket Martin when Martin comes forward, because King and Nahas are poor matchups for him and aren't really good enough to justify bringing in limited, negative players for.
Would prefer we gave the Martin matchup to Brennan and kept the backline the same.
Would only bring in Embley for Dalziell if we want him as an impact sub.
