I doubt we could have picked 3 less exciting ins ... I know McGinnity still has some fans on here but seriously he's just another in a long line of B graders with very obvious deficiencies .... Depressing ins

hard to imagine a trio that would be a more conservative selection from the match committee

Would prefer to see Ash Smith's name there and surely Wilson could do with the encouragement of being an emergency at least given his WAFL form has reportedly been pretty consistent

We should be more zany. Maybe get an eyebrow ring or only consume soft drinks marketed as 'extreme'.

Do you disagree that we are extremely conservative at the selection table? We must have close to the least amount of debutantes in the last 18 months.

Edit: We are on 5, Sydney and Hawthorn are on 4. Both those two played off for the premiership last year, and look likely to do it again this year. Us...not so much.

So what?

  • Interchange From*
  • 35 Patrick McGinnity
  • 34 Mark Hutchings
  • 5 Brad Sheppard
  • 32 Andrew Embley
  • 18 Bradd Dalziell
  • 37 Adam Selwood
  • 14 Jacob Brennan
  • *Three to be omitted
I'm predicting Hutchings dropped for Embley, Brennan dropped for Selwood and Dalziell dropped for McGinnity.

Final bench of Embley, Selwood, McGinnity and Sheppard being the sub. Just because our Match Committee are a bunch of ****heads who don't know what they're doing.

That's so shit that you're probably right :/

The current veterans / fringe players aren't going to get us a premiership, so why not try some of the younger players who have shown good form in the WAFL.
You reckon we're already into 'playing the kids'?

Jesus, that was quick.

Should we send players for surgery and starting tanking for picks while we're at it?

Who's talking about playing all kids at the expense of all veterans? I'm talking about adding one or two that are in good form (perhaps better than some of the older players who have also been playing at WAFL). And especially playing them against some of the easier opponents.

Or we could keep picking what we consider our best side.

Which younger players are demanding selection?

Players on our list yet to debut

Carter
Colledge
McInness
Wilson

Aside from Wilson none of this group are pressing for selection

Our list has been reasonably stable over the last few years - you could argue that we havent turned over our list nearly enough but apart from missing a couple of quality mids our list is decent
