there will be 3 or 4.

seaby was as useless at **** on a bull. when masten shanked that kick seaby made absolutely no attempt AT ALL to just try and get there and maybe shark a mark.

he was probably thinking there is only a 20% chance i'll get there so why bother.

i don't know if anyone watch the st kilda essendon game the week before but the desperation of st kilda is something every club should be looking at.

the case in point was sam gilbert. there was a particular play where essendon where coming out of defence and shanked a kick to gilbert who dropped a sitter and an essendon swooper came and carried the ball forward. now essendon ended up taking the ball the length of the ground and goaling but gilbert chased the ball, sprinting all the way from his half forward line deep into the back pocket (about 120 metres) doing everything in his power to try and fix his mistake and stop the goal.

it didn't work for him but at least he didn't just think "well there's only a 20% chance i'm going to chase these guys down so i'll just let them kick the goal"... that's the sort of desperation that will see players step up a level in their game, and our guys just aren't showing that consistently enough at the moment.

as for the changes i'll wait for later this week.

Why not, we can't get much worse.

why Cockie? playing pretty well. And no, no Hansen.....we need to move forward not backwards.

This is a bad loss.

Collingwood were seriously undermanned, and aren't even very good to begin with.

For us to get shown up like this, at home, is an indictment.

I wouldn't drop McKinley. Out of form but had a crack. I'd still leave cockie in as well. He's still a punk.

I agree. We should not go back to Hansen, Fletcher, or Stenglein. They don't really have a future so they can't give us much. Collectively might win us a game but that will matter for nothing and just delay the rebuild.

Mckinley
Cockie

mckinley ended up with four. it's one of the least impressive four goal performances he'll have in his career but he won't get dropped and nor should he. he's still very very dangerous for us.

cockie has to stay in. he needs to get more of the ball, but when he gets it, good things usually happen which is more then what you can say for most of the team. his 8 possession tonight where far better for us than kerr's 23 IMO.

Exactly keep the kids, McKinley's 4 will be enough to save him

To be honest you can't put this down to 1 or 2 players.

This was a team effort. You can't be that bad without help.

This is spot on....once the confidence went, that was it game over.
Leadership is the issue for me, Nothing against glass, i just dont think he can influence a game, or instill any confidence in those around him.
By the end of the game the backline was a mess:(

Not many changes this week, maybe 2.
IN: Players who are going to have a crack
OUT: Take your pick

Priddis and Wirra will be sailing close to the wind also. Priddis' disposal just isn't up to AFL standard and people are fooling themselves if they think they are. Wirra will go down as a club legend, but time after ****ing time he gives his man far, far too much lattitude in defence.

Agreed. Even the commentators took notice of Priddis, Rosa (and someone else who I can't think of right now) and how badly they butcher the ball.

Kerr, he had a stinker tonight

Bring on the youth and lets clear out this deadwood.
